With each passing day, new attacks are being launched on innocents in the midst of the Israel-Palestine war, and in the span of these two months, several surprise assaults have taken place on the Israeli border.
Among those, the October 7th surprise raid during the early hours that took 200 people hostage, including children, women, and men, has become the talk of the town.
While many people have held a glimmer of hope, new details have been emerging with each passing day, and Noa Marciano, who was among the targets, seems to be the latest victim.
Five weeks after her abduction, Israeli Defense Forces confirmed that the 19-year-old Noa Marciano, an IDF Soldier from Israel, was reportedly killed by Hamas on November 9, 2023, with a heavy wound on the back of her head and bleeding feet. However, Hamas claims that she perished during the Israeli strike on Gaza.
Who Is Noa Marciano?
Noa Marciano is a 19-year-old girl from Modi’in who served as an IDF officer in the 414th Regiment of Combat Intelligence Collection Corps. She was also present at the Kibbutz Nahal oz as the army spotter during Hamas raids.
Noa is the daughter of Adi Marciano, who traveled all the way to the United States to plead for her daughter’s safety when Hamas militants abducted her on October 7.
Did Hamas Kill Noa Marciano?
Before her abduction on October 7, Noa Marciano reportedly contacted her mother while hiding in a bomb shelter at the Kibbutz, but she was eventually found by the militants.
While Hamas claimed that none of their hostages have died in their hands, it seems like Noa has become yet another victim, as witnessed by the recent video that circulated on X (formerly Twitter).
In the video, Noa Marciano speaks to the camera, but it eventually moves forward to show the pictures of her dead body, which contains a brutal head wound as well as bleeding feet.
According to reports, Hamas claimed that Noa was killed by the Israeli strike on Gaza on November 9, 2023, but seeing her wounds and verified information from other sources, she may have been killed by Hamas.
On the other hand, Israeli Defense Forces also backed their doubts about Hamas notifying their family members about her passing and revealed it through a statement. The statement reads,
“Our hearts are with the Marciano family whose daughter, Noa, was brutally kidnapped by the Hamas terrorist organization. The IDF and all the relevant bodies will continue to support her family, as well as all of the families of the hostages and missing persons.”
While there have been no confirmations about Hamas killing Noa Marciano, wounds to her head and feet remind us once again that she didn’t die on a bomb strike but rather was subjected to extreme torture by humans.
The October 7 attack not only resulted in Hamas capturing more than 200 hostages but also cost the lives of over 1400 innocents, and they may continue as long as these countries come to a peace agreement or end their war once and for all.
So, what do you think about Noa Marciano’s latest video? Do you believe she was killed by Hamas?
