The Israel-Hamas conflict is no longer a war but a genocide of Gaza. Amidst the fight for land, religion, global reputation, and identity, somewhere humanity is considered the least priority.
While the world leaders were pleading their “unwavering support” for a side, millions were left helpless, thousands of children dying, families separated and displaced from their homes, no food, water, or electricity, and all hopes shattered as the world abandoned Gaza.
On October 17, the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the besieged Gaza Strip was hit by an air missile, claiming 500 innocent lives. Israel forces deny the allegations that it was their air strike and claim it was a misfire from the Palestine Islamic Jihad armed group. No verification is available on any of the claims yet.
However, Israel has released a few videos that suggest that it wasn’t their missile, while these videos are still under dissection.
Did Israel Really Bomb a Hospital in Gaza?
Israel’s counterstrike began after the declaration of ‘state-of-war’ following Hamas’s attacks along the Gaza-Israel border. But the retaliation seems to have gone overkill with incessant air strikes over Gaza, leading to an outright blackout in the region. Within a couple of days, the city was in complete ruins.
Reportedly, 1000 children have been killed in 11 days of Gaza annihilation, where one child dies every fifteen minutes.
And now, the Gaza genocide reached an inhumane level when the air strike hit the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital. The deadly attack that accounted for the most casualties in a single strike is now condemned by the entire world, regardless of which side one supported.
Claiming over 500 lives, several countries have openly condemned these strikes, including Canada, Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, and Qatar. At the same time, large-scale protests have erupted in Israel-occupied West Bank, Istanbul, and Amman.
The health ministry spokesman, Ashraf Al-Qudra, revealed that rescue workers are determined to save as many people trapped in the rubble as possible and also remove the bodies underneath. While the Gaza civil defense chief reported 300 people were killed, the health ministry accounted for 500 lives taken in the attack.
The Grave Question Remains– Who Is Accountable for Such Heinous Attacks on Gaza Hospital?
Palestine alleges that it was Israel’s strike that hit the hospital that was treating thousands of patients from the earlier Gaza attacks. But Israel denies all the allegations. Instead, the nation maintains that the Palestinian Islamic Jihad militant group misfired their rockets that struck the hospital’s parking lot, per Israeli Military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari.
Lieutenant-Colonel Jonathan Conricus, another spokesperson, further elaborated that their military intercepted the conversation on the other side, where the militants admitted to a misfire. Israel force maintains that they have evidence to substantiate this.
Meanwhile, Riyad Mansour, Palestinian Envoy to the UN, revealed in a press conference that an Israeli spokesperson tweeted about a possible hit to the hospital, suspecting that it was a Hamas base. The post was later deleted, but Mr. Mansour committed to proof with a copy of the post.
Mansour also stated that the Israeli spokesperson warned the hospital to evacuate two days prior. Here is a video of the Director of the hospital explaining the threat.

Meanwhile, US President Biden held a conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where he condemned the attack on the Gaza hospital but also endorsed Israel’s claims that the PIJ group was responsible for the strike.
PIJ has denied all the claims that their missiles blasted the hospital.
In other reports, the missile found in the hospital ruins does not match with Israel’s usual air strikes (there is no verification on these reports yet).
Just a few days back, Syria also alleged that Israel had struck two prominent airports.
