Whether it’s good news or bad, season 3 of Rent-A-Girlfriend is officially announced.
The second season’s final episode, titled “Girlfriend and Me,” has already aired, and the revelation came after the final episode’s release. This season had 12 episodes with English subtitles and aired on Muse Asia’s Youtube channel. Those episodes are also available for free.
Rent-A-Girlfriend series’ original title is Kanojo, Okarishimasu in Japanese began in 2020, and the second season has just aired today.
The plot is based on Reiji Miyajima’s manga with the same Japanese title. The manga is a romantic comedy series with a school background and shounen demography.
The series is serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine. Kodansha publishes the English version of the manga, and the plot focuses on Kazuya Kinoshita as the protagonist.

New Season Announcement In Chibi Form
No trailer has been released. It is just an announcement video. The short tape shows all four female protagonists gathered and conversing among themselves in chibi forms. Among that cute waifus, Sumi Sakurasawa contains a piece of paper while other girls ask about what she is hiding. These other three girls other than Sumi San are Chizuru Ichinose, Mami Nanami, and the cutest one, Ruka Sarashina. She finally showed the paper to all of them, and they announced that season 3 was in development in chorus.

New Writers/ Production Team
No details have been revealed about this either. Kazuomi Koga directed the previous season of this anime. Hirona Hirayama took the role of character designer. Hysdain gave the music. The production houses were Toms Entertainment and Studio Comet. Hajime Takakuwa directed the sound, and Minoru Akiba was the art director.
The funny thing is that season 3 was announced in a video where all the female protagonists were in chibi forms. So, that short video was produced by the same director and production house.
