No matter how many mysteries and surprises One Piece brings, there is still a mountain to climb to understand what runs through legendary mangaka, Eiichiro Oda’s mind.
While he has always been a genius storyteller, as evidenced by One Piece manga, the latest One Piece chapters dropped another mind-blowing plot twist in the story.
In One Piece Chapter 1094, one of the Five Elders, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, has made his entrance onto the Egghead, shaking all the fighters on the island. Even Luffy, Rob Lucci, Roronoa Zoro, and Kizaru have paused their battle to notice his ominous presence, implying that the Five Elders may be even stronger than the Admirals and Sea Emperors in One Piece.
One Piece Chapter 1094: Saturn’s Arrival at the Battlefield
With the conclusion of Wano, Luffy has now officially become one of the Four Emperors, second to none in the world in terms of power and strength. After leaving Wano Country, the crew landed on Egghead Island.
The island is said to be five hundred years in the future, and it even looks futuristic with all the robots and holograms, as seen in the manga’s earlier chapters.
As CP0, led by Rob Lucci, arrives on the island to kill Dr. Vegapunk, Luffy stops him effortlessly. However, with Kizaru’s arrival, the situation has become complicated.
Nonetheless, Luffy held his ground without too much effort, thanks to his gear five, as he fought with Kizaru while Zoro held Rob Lucci back. But when Dr. Vegapunk hacked the Pacifista Cyborgs from Marine’s control, the tide of the battle began shifting away from the Marines.
Out of the blue, a massive presence enveloped the island, a person with a demonic aura and black lightning. Then, it was revealed that one of the Five Elders, Saint Jaygarcia Saturn, had arrived on the battlefield to act personally.
Eventually, the narrator claims that no person below the rank of rear admiral should look him in the eye, and that becomes evident when a Marine soldier explodes after doing just that.
Following his arrival, he transforms into a terrifying monster, with the head of a demon with horns and the legs of a massive spider reminiscent of the ancient Japanese creature, ushi-oni.
During the entire moment of his arrival, everyone fighting on the island, including the Sea Emperor Luffy, the Pirate Hunter Zoro, the strongest Cipher Pol agent, Rob Lucci, and Admiral Kizaru, ceases fighting to notice the formidable presence of Saturn.
Explained: Are the Five Elders Stronger Than the Admirals and Yonkai in One Piece?
So far in the manga, no Elder has made a move, and they are always seen debating specific issues and handling the political situations of the World Government.
However, these Celestial Dragons are more than just old men—they are literal monsters who hold the titles of Warrior Gods. Even though Saturn’s power has not been fully revealed yet, his presence alone hints at his monstrous abilities.
In the chapters during the Wano arc, Sabo uses one of his strongest attacks to hurt the Five Elders, but they come out unscathed even after taking the attack head-on.
According to many fans who speculated regarding the Five Elders, they might even be immortals existing since the Void Century and have seen the first emergence of Joyboy, who currently reappeared as Luffy.
Knowing Oda, Saturn is definitely not the most powerful of the Five Elders, but chances are he is the weakest of them, yet he can impose such a commanding presence on the strongest individuals in the world.
So, we firmly believe that the Five Elders of the World Government are stronger than the Admirals and the Emperors.
