Anthony Mackie has expressed his desire to replicate a particular action sequence of the former Captain America (Chris Evans). Kevin Feige has recently revealed their upcoming film Captain America: New World Order starring Anthony Mackie, which is set to release in theatres in 2024.
In The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, it was a little hard for multiple viewers to watch a non-Chris Evans Captain America. This also showed how Government officials prefer a white face of America to a black one. By addressing such issues, Marvel started to explore more with their characters and societal background. After leaving those reflections behind, Mackie’s Sam Wilson took the mantle of Captain America in the finale.
But things will not stop here. Some secrets are yet to be revealed. The mastermind behind all the chaos in the series, the Power Breaker has remained a massive threat. Though a new comic book, Falcon(Joaquin Torres, played by Danny Ramirez), has already been featured in the series, the fate of the old Falcon suit is yet to be revealed. There are not many details available regarding the movie.

Comic Book Version of New World Order
The New World Order is an evil organization that Red Skull headed in the comics. It is a long arc with many major Marvel characters and many twists and turns. But the most epic thing is Hydra Steve Rodgers. A hydra version of Steve has already been referenced in the Endgame movie, but many fans are theorizing to see Chris Evans for Marvel again in this movie. This may be possible with the new concept of Multiverse.
Anthony Mackie’s Desire In Captain America: New World Order
Besides all the possibilities and hypothetical theories, the 44-year-old actor also revealed the status of his upcoming Marvel film in an exclusive conversation with E! News.
He talked about the project being “in pre-production,” and the shooting will start shooting next year. Mackie then revealed his most profound desire of wanting to replicate Evans’s Cap’s iconic elevator scene.
He is a big fan of the scene from his debut Marvel film and is “desperate” to rival that particular action of his former colleague. He said, “When he (Steve) fought like 10 dudes in the elevator. That was a badass scene. The first time I saw that I was like, ‘That’s crazy.’ So I just want a fight scene that rivals that.”
In describing the scene, that was one of the most epic moments of the former Cap. Steve beat the crap out of Hydra agents in disguise of S.H.I.E.L.D members in an elevator. Steve seemed like a one-man army while beating ten armed agents alone.
Anthony’s Sam Wilson officially became Captain America in the finale of 2021’s Disney Plus series, The Falcon and the Winter Solider. Earlier this year, Mackie commented on the possibility of Evans’s return to the MCU.

When Mackie was asked about Chris Evans’s return rumors, he turned down all the chances. He joked about his former colleague, saying, “He’s so far gone. He’s enjoying life. He’s like an old retired dude.”
Indeed, Chris is long gone from Marvel, but Mackie’s friendship with Chris is still on behind the screen. The duo with Sebastian Stan has developed a strong bonding. He also added, “It’s not often you come across people you work with who you sincerely miss and consider friends.”
Anthony said, “Fortunately, between the three of us, we’re actually friends. We go to each other’s houses and spend birthdays together.”
Let’s wait until 2024 to see whether the new Cap outplays the old one, but the excitement will remain the same.
