The Rock confirms Henry Cavill’s return to the DCEU!

We’re just mere days away from the worldwide release of Black Adam as the biggest DCEU project of the year, and the movie has been creating waves around the internet before it is yet to come out officially.

Amidst a plethora of speculations revolving around Henry Cavill’s return as Superman, it looks like the star of Black Adam, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, has something in store for us. And he doesn’t seem to shy away from throwing away easter eggs at us fans waiting patiently to witness the epic standoff between Black Adam and the one and only Man of Steel, Superhuman.

“The Rock” took to his Instagram to share the insights of his upcoming movie in a way all his 340M followers are well aware of. A post-workout video of him talking about a project he’s been passionately working on. Of his many Instagram posts, there’s one video that highlights some spoilers for the Third Act of Black Adam, and at this point, fans can’t ignore the words that come out of the actor’s mouth. What if he gives away a piece of sensitive information?

In the video, Dwayne Johnson talks about him working out with the Black Adam theme playing in the background, and he looks very excited about the project that his production studio, Seven Bucks Productions, and Warner Bros. have been working on tirelessly for the past year or two. (Or maybe even more, who knows?)

Anyways, he talks about how he wants the audience to know that the Black Adam’s official theme song is his “warm up, pre-workout, and during workout music which has been played on repeat as the composer Lorne Balfe wanted to reflect the character of Black Adam’s into the actor’s DNA, as Black Adam flies with rage channeling Darth Vader vibes. He walks with an intense purpose because he plays psychological chess with his opponents.”

He also added that he highly recommends people to download Black Adam theme song as the music will inspire them and re-calibrate their focus as he’s the most powerful and unstoppable force on this planet. On this planet….!!

We want you to read it again… On this planet! Is he possibly hinting at a potential appearance of The Last son of Krypton? Uhmm, we wouldn’t be having second thoughts on this, as Superman is not from this planet. And we already had some ideas regarding Henry Cavill’s return as a symbol of hope.

Amidst the reports of him starring in a Superman sequel that’s currently in development, this sudden easter-egg drop from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson comes out as a cherry on top for fans eagerly waiting for Henry Cavill’s return as Superman.

Cavill was last seen in Zack Snyder’s Justice League in 2021. However, Superman has made relatively shorter appearances, with an unknown actor playing his part in both Shazam (2019) and Peacemaker’s final episode.

Earlier, there was a rumor that Henry would make a surprise entry at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, but we all know how the events turned out to be as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson got booed at the stage when he hinted that Henry Cavill might not return as Superman. This led to a great amount of disappointment circulating in the fandom and criticism of Warner Bros. and DC for not giving fans what they wanted.

Black Adam is all set to release worldwide on October 21, 2022.
