Fans are hopeful to see the actor again in a Spider-Man franchise; since the MCU has opened up the universe, Garfield needs plans to reprise his role as Spider-Man. However, in the future, there may be another chance for both Garfield and Tobey Maguire to try their luck as Spider-Man.

On the other hand, Tom Holland admitted he became too “caught up in getting the role” and expressed regret about how he handled taking over as Spider-Man from Andrew Garfield. “I really wish I’d contacted him and simply said, ‘You know I can’t pass down this chance,” said Tom Holland.
