Ahsoka has finally arrived and is available for streaming on Disney+.
The series will revolve around the chronicles of Ahsoka Tano, played by the action queen Rosario Dawson. Ahsoka will be transcending through galaxies into the ruins of the old battle, preparing to start a new fight with The Empire.
According to the timeline, this spinoff to Star Wars opens in 5-1 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin). The animated series Star Wars: Rebels takes place a decade before Ahsoka ventured on the sole path of searching for peace.
Ahsoka’s story begins after the post- The Empire is taken down. According to the makers, the story is running parallel with Andor and the victory of the Rebels. Hence, the deduction is that first, Jedis won over the Empire, and Ahsoka came later.
While Ahsoka is on a mission, she believes that she can find Ezra Bridger by finding Thrawn. Hera thinks that Thrawn died in the Battle of Lothal, but his disciple, Morgan Elsbeth, is searching for him in the depths of space. Ezra was last seen during this battle, defeating Grand Admiral Thrawn and freeing the planet from Imperial rule.
Who Does Ezra Bridger Become?
Ezra Bridger was first introduced in Rebels as a street urchin. He is later integrated into the Galactic Rebellion as a padawan to Kanan Jarrus. Ezra and his rebel cell Spectres roam around the galaxy, teaming up with pirates, former Jedis, and reformed clones to take down the Empire.
Ezra Bridger evolves into a more potent rebel in the Force by mastering his ability to connect and communicate with animals.
When they are face-to-face with the Purrgil (a race of sentient space whales capable of lightspeed travel), Ezra uses his prowess to communicate with them.
Ezra establishes a rebel cell on Lothal with the help of Spectres. This leads to conflict with Thrawn, eventually engaging in one final battle for reign over the entire planet.
What Happened to Ezra Bridger After Star Wars Rebels?
After the final battle of Lothal, Ezra and the Spectres dispel the Empire out of Lothal forever.
In Star Wars: Rebels series finale episode, “Family Reunion — and Farewell,” Ezra strategizes a plan. He becomes the Trojan Horse and allows Trawn to capture him while the Lothalian Rebel forces battle it out with the Imperial troops.
Unbeknownst to Thrawn, Ezra summons the school of Purrgil when Trawn takes Ezra on his Imperial flagship, the Chimaera. With the joined forces, the Rebels defeat Thrawn’s forces, sending them to exile in unknown regions. These regions are formed when the Purrgil makes a hyperspace jump with the Chimaera in tow.
But this also leads to a tragic outcome– Ezra disappears in this portal, too.
Ezra emerged a martyr and a hero for his sacrifice to ensure that the Rebels escaped without any problems. Nobody in Lothal actually knows what happened to Ezra. But this only adds to the mystery of their secret plane. Hence, as we see in Ahsoka, Ezra’s fate will be the most-anticipated event.
