One Piece Chapter 1095: What Is God Valley?
The mention of God Valley has been seen many times in the anime, and it was believed to be the most intense battle both the World Government and Pirates have ever fought.
So, God Valley is an island where the epic battle between the Rocks Pirates and the World Government took place, where Monkey D. Garp and Gol D. Roger joined hands to defeat the Pirate Captain, Rocks D. Xebec.
According to the spoilers revealed by the raw scans, God Valley used to be a place where the Celestial Dragons conducted tournaments between various races, and the contestants were forced to fight to the death.
Even if a fighter from a specific tribe did not intend to give up on his life after losing, the World Government would execute them, perhaps due to which tribes belonging to the King (Kaido’s subordinate) were wiped out.
What Happened in God Valley?
The God Valley incident is rather famous among One Piece viewers because it was a battle between the strongest Pirate and the alliance of the King of the Pirates and the strongest Marine.
Apparently, Rocks D. Xebec wanted to wipe out Celestial Dragons during a tournament in God Valley, and to protect them, Garp has allied with Roger.
The battle eventually led to the defeat of the Rocks Pirates, which consisted of Rocks D. Xebec, Big Mom, Kaido, Whitebeard, and Shiki. While it is currently unknown whether either Xebec or Shiki is alive, the God Valley vanished into thin air after the battle.
For his contributions, Garp was revered as the Marine Hero, while Roger was executed for being the King of Pirates even though he helped the World Government.
One Piece Chapter 1095 Hints at Shanks’ Connection to Celestial Dragons
Shanks, who inspired the main protagonist, Luffy, to become a pirate, has long been a mysterious character who spread his influence on the fandom despite having very little screen time.
However, since his visit to the Five Elders of Celestial Dragons, fans were quick to believe that he may be of Celestial Dragon ancestry.
According to the Chapter 1095 spoilers, Shanks might be an abandoned child of the Garling Family. These speculations are based on the fact that Garling Figarland, shown in Chapter 1086, resembles Shanks during his 40s in the latest chapter.
Furthermore, the incident in God Valley occurred roughly 38 years ago, about the same time when Shanks was born. So, it could be possible that Shanks was abandoned at the God Valley by the Garling family.
In an image revealed by the raw scans, Garling Figarland has red hair and looks strikingly similar to Shanks in his forties, so that it could be a significant reveal in the upcoming chapter.
We can also expect several other reveals, including Bartholomew Kuma’s race and why he was treated as the slave of Celestial Dragons all his life. One Piece Chapter 1095 will be released on October 16, 2023.
