Henry Ruggs, the talented NFL player, has just begun his career and was at the peak of it when an unfortunate event ended up ruining it for him forever. His irresponsibility is to be taken into account for this, which also destroyed the lives of the Tintor family, who lost their beloved daughter, Tina Tintor, and their pet Mark, something they never imagined would happen.

With Rugg being sentenced to three years in prison, his career is at stake and seems hopeless for once. What would be the fate of the young player? Is his career gone for a toss forever? Read on to know!

Will Henry Ruggs Ever Play NFL Again?

Update: Former #Raiders WR Henry Ruggs has been sentenced by a judge to 3-10 years in prison, per @davidcharns

Prosecutors said his blood alcohol level was 0.1 which is twice the legal limit.

It is highly unlikely that Ruggs will play in the NFL again, regardless of his guilt. His reputation is damaged beyond repair, making him unemployable by any franchise.

Henry Ruggs, a former player for the Las Vegas Raiders, was given a minimum three-year jail term on Wednesday for killing a woman in a violent collision while operating his sports vehicle while intoxicated at up to 156 mph on a city street nearly two years ago.

When Ruggs was still in the hospital following the early-morning collision on November 2, 2021, which resulted in the death of Tina Tintor, 23, the Raiders had already fired him. After pleading guilty to DUI, Ruggs is probably never going to play football in the NFL again.

During his court appearance on Wednesday, Ruggs, accompanied by his defense attorney David Chesnoff, apologized for his selfish behavior that caused pain to Tina Tintor’s family, his own family, his teammates, and those who believed in him.

However, after serving three years in prison, Ruggs will become eligible for parole.

Who Was Tina Tintor?

Tina Tintor was tragically killed one year ago while she was driving home from the dog park with her dog, Max. Henry Ruggs, unfortunately, got behind the wheel drunk and drive over 150 mph before crashing into Tina.

Tintor died from “thermal injuries due to a motor vehicle collision,” as the accident not only shook her family but everyone else who became aware of her story. Thereafter, the State of Nevada sentenced Ruggs to be at fault for the deadly accident that occurred in Las Vegas at 3:39 a.m. on Nov. 2, 2021. Later, it was revealed that a Corvette-driven Ruggs hit a Toyota RAV4 driven by Tintor.

Near the corner of Rainbow and Spring Valley, there is now set a permanent statue of Tina Tintor and her dog Max, in their remembrance, who was killed in the accident.

Tintor’s family released a statement which read,

“No sentence will ever bring Tina and Max back, but we hope that everyone learns from this preventable incident so that no other families suffer as we do. We appreciate the efforts of the district attorney’s office to overcome the issues caused by the initial investigation, and we look forward to putting this behind us so that we can focus on honoring the memories of Tina and Max.”

Who Is Henry Ruggs?

DeVonta Smith was excused from practice so he could be in attendance for Henry Ruggs’ sentencing in Las Vegas….

Henry James Ruggs III is a former professional American football wide receiver. He was born on January 24, 1999, and played for the Las Vegas Raiders in the NFL for two seasons.

Before his NFL career, Ruggs was part of the championship-winning team at the University of Alabama during the 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship.

As of 2023, his net worth accounted for $16 million.

What do you think of Rugg’s irresponsibility that took the innocent life of Tina? Do you think stricter protocols be implemented in this regard?

What do you think will be the fate of Rugg’s career hereafter? Let us know below!
