Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are among the best couples this year, being on the news every week at least once as they are spotted together at either the former’s games or the latter concerts.
While everyone expected this could be it and Taylor Swift could finally have a happy ending in her life, a bad premonition appeared to fans when the Philadelphia Eagles lined up to step onto the field. So, what does “Kelce Hurts Swift” signify?
A recent image from the Chiefs vs. Eagles on Nov. 20 showed Jason Kelce, Jalen Hurts, and D’Andre Swift creating a phrase with their last names on their jerseys that says, “Kelce Hurts Swift.” Swifties are now afraid that Kelce may really hurt Taylor by ending the relationship, but whether it was a coincidence or intentional is yet to be confirmed.
Explained: What Does “Kelce Hurts Swift” Mean?
Taylor Swift has been through many breakups in her life, from Joe Jonas to Harry Styles, and after so many years, fans have seen her genuinely happy with someone, who is Travis Kelce, the Chiefs’ tight end.
Their relationship has been delightful so far, with Taylor attending his matches and cheering from the stands and Kelce attending her concerts, where they shared signs of becoming engaged.
On November 20, 2023, during the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, an ominous sign was noticed by many fans, which implied terrible news for Swifties.
When the players lined up for offensive snap, three Eagles players lined up, including Jason Kelce at the front, Jalen Hurts in the middle, and D’Andre Swift at the back.
Since the jerseys only consist of the last names, it spelled out “Kelce Hurts Swift,” which implied that Kelce may break up with Taylor Swift. Although it has not been confirmed whether it was intentional or just a coincidence, fans considered it a bad premonition.
This message comes after many speculated that the couple may get engaged in 2024, seeing how they fall head over heels for each other. Thus, it is more of a shock to Swifties than anybody else.
