Despite being released sixteen years ago, Kaze no Stigma anime still provides a novel viewing experience for lovers of supernatural mystery. The anime is an adaptation of the light novel of the same name and consists of 24 episodes.

Having said that, even after all these years, we haven’t had a follow-up season for the anime, making the viewers question whether we will ever have one. So, without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about Kaze no Stigma season 2.

Kaze no Stigma Plot

stigma of the wind or "Kaze no Stigma"for extra weeb points,

Was another GONZO anime production.

Kaze no Stigma revolves around Kazuma Yagami, a young man who can manipulate the wind—the ability known as “Fuujutsu. He was banished from his family four years ago after his family learned about his inability to control fire (Enjutsu), which led to his inevitable defeat in a duel against his cousin, Ayano Kannagi.

However, he returns to his home hoping to be accepted into the family, but things take a drastic turn when a few of Kannagi’s family members are murdered mysteriously. To top off his worries, the killer seems to have used the same ability of “Fuujutsu.”

Now, stuck in a situation where everyone suspects him as the culprit, he not only has to clear his name but also chase the killer who brutally slaughtered his close family members.

Kaze no Stigma Season 2 Release Date

Finished Kaze no Stigma. I had a good time watching this anime. I loved all the characters. The romance could have been better but overall. Great #Anime. I want a season 2 but sadly the creator died from leukemia. RIP to him and I want to thank him for giving us this great anime pic.twitter.com/EnAqIVGp2b

As of now, there has been no confirmation from Studio Gonzo that they will be producing another season for the anime. Furthermore, the light novel’s author, Takahiro Yamato, passed away in 2009.

So, there was no one who really wanted to continue with the anime during all these years. However, it is not entirely impossible to get a sequel to Kaze no Stigma, but it could take a while.

Kaze no Stigma Season 2 Trailer

Since there is no word of a second season being in production at the time of publication, there is also no official trailer released by Crunchyroll or Studio Gonzo. So, we can only wait for a second season to be adapted sometime in the future.

Kaze no Stigma is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. As you know, Crunchyroll is akin to Netflix for anime, which has an extensive library of anime collections and is available in many regions.

In case you’re in a specific country where Crunchyroll is unavailable, you can try Hulu, which also streams this anime. However, Crunchyroll is a bit cheaper compared to Hulu, so we recommend going with the former choice.

So, did you enjoy the first season of Kaze no Stigma? Do you think a second season will be released in the future? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
