Jerry Springer, the controversial tv show host, ran into many brawls in his lifetime. However, even after his death, it looks like the world is not ready to leave him alone.
In a shocking turn of events, a viral clip shows what seems to be Jerry Springer reading out his will. In fact, he is even confessing to having two Black kids out of wedlock!
Fans have started calling the clip the best episode of the Jerry Springer Show yet. The comparison holds true since his show was violent and problematic, feeding on people’s inferiority complex.
This new revelation seems a perfect fit for the show as it claims Jerry has left all his property to his illegitimate children while his real ones have the tiniest bit of inheritance to their name.
While all this might seem like a perfect fit for any reality show, it is seldom the truth, and so is the case with this clip.
Jerry Springer Will Reading Video Explained
The video of Jerry Springer reading what seemed to be his will went viral on social media websites earlier today. However, many are questioning its legitimacy.
The clip was uploaded by a Twitter user who claimed, “The best Jerry Springer episode ever is Jerry reading his own will‼️ He had two black children out of wedlock; wife threatens to expose him, so he keeps it under wraps until he dies, then leaves all his money to the children he never met.”
It took little time for the tweet to go viral, and it has already gathered 1.5 million views. However, the clip is not at all true and is rather just an out-of-context video designed to make people misunderstand.
Jerry Springer’s will-reading video is actually cropped out from a play Springer performed in December 2020. He participated in script reading in the ‘REFRAMED 2020: A Festival of New Plays on Social Justice’ festival.
In the script, the character confesses that his wife knew about his affair and threatened to expose him, but he wants to leave his property to his mistress and their children. He hands over all his estate, liquid funds, and bank assets to the two illegitimate children, John and Nisha.
Being a journalist, politician, and tv show host all his life, Jerry Springer was practically a celebrity before he passed away. He would obviously not read out his will in front of unknown strangers, especially not in a publicly released video.
If Springer did have illegitimate children, major news websites would have jumped to get the scoop rather than it being revealed by a Twitter user.
Does Jerry Springer Have Illegitimate Black Kids?
No, Jerry Springer, the tv show host who passed away in April 2023, had no illegitimate black kids. He was married to Micki Velton, who passed away in 1994. Their daughter, Katie, was born in 1976. Springer had no other children except Katie.
The rumor of Springer having two illegitimate black kids sprung from an out-of-context clip from his December 2020 script reading video. He is merely reading his character’s lines and not admitting to having an affair himself.
Needless to say, he has not given his property to any other children except Katie.
Many Twitter users applauded Springer for his decision without even realizing it was a script. This proves how damaging a video that has just been taken out of context can be.

I believe it
Unbelievable, if it’s true so be it. And if it’s truuuue. Why not split it with all his kids. It’s not their fault their mother controlled and kept him from the other children. If it’s not true, so be it.
