Plot

The story starts with Hanamichi Sakuragi, a short-tempered guy who’s been rejected by 50 girls. He was admitted to Shohoku High School to finally get a girlfriend and break his record of being rejected by 50 girls. In this school, he met a pretty girl named Haruko Akagi, and guess what?
Hanamichi fell for her in an instant. She asked him if he liked basketball and could join the school basketball team. Hanamichi already wanted a girlfriend and desired to express that to Haruko, so he agreed to everything. Earlier, he used to hate basketball, but this new school, with a new team and the desperation of having a girlfriend, will change his life completely and make Hanamichi Sakuragi a true sportsman.

The First Slam Dunk was announced with an official promotional video, and that was enough to see how good this movie would be. This time, instead of old-school animation, we will have CGI animation. In the promotional video, we could see stunning scenery and animation that looked clean and eye-catching.
In the very beginning, we can notice a kid playing basketball with someone older and taller than him, and in the same video, we can see some clips from a basketball match. To be honest, the whole video was great, and I believe this movie will be amazing.
