Renowned actor Jamie Foxx, who is known for his memorable roles in Ray, Collateral, Ali, Django Unchained, and more, was recently spotted at a McDonald’s joint in LA.
While most encounters with celebrities end with a selfie session or autograph signing, such was not the case with Jamie Foxx. Instead, his appearance sparked conspiracy theories that Foxx has been cloned.
Who so? Because Foxx’s signature head tattoo has suddenly disappeared!
Tattoos are notorious for being permanent, and their removal procedure is excruciating. So, where did the tattoo go?
Jamie Foxx’s Tattoo Origin
Oscar-winning actor Jamie Foxx has been sporting a tribal tattoo on his head ever since his 40th birthday. According to him, he gifted it to himself in 2007, on his birthday. However, some say it actually covers the hair transplant scar. The tattoo runs from ear to ear, just a bit below the crown.
Jamie Foxx Clone Controversy Explained
Actor Jamie Foxx was seen at a McDonald’s in Los Angeles over the weekend, where he ordered his favorite food and talked about feeling better after a stroke. However, the videos that have emerged from the interaction show an absence of Jamie Foxx’s head tattoo. This has led to many people assuming that the person is a clone of the actor and not the real person.
Jamie has been sporting his tribal tattoo for several years at the back of his head but has been recently spotted without it on some occasions.
Earlier this year, in July, Foxx was seen without his tattoo in Chicago. At the time, Jamie Foxx helped pick up a woman’s purse that had fallen from a ride without her realizing. Foxx returned it to its owner and then got back inside the car.
The brief moment of his getting back was captured, and no tattoo was visible at the time. However, it could be the angle that led to missing the tattoo as it is at the back of his head, and in the video, he is facing the camera at an angle.
However, the McDonald’s video showed the back of his head in crystal clear quality, and no tattoo was visible. This has sparked clone controversies as people think that the person appearing in public is not the real Jamie Foxx.
When the cloning topic first came up in July, Jamie commented on a post discussing the issue by saying: “They didn’t clone me, but THEY CLONED TYRONE.” The statement alluded to his then-movie project, ‘They Cloned Tyrone,’ released in theaters in July 2023.
The actor himself has yet to make a comment on why his tattoo has been missing. It could be a cover-up for an upcoming project, or maybe he just had a tattoo removal treatment. However, the latter is unlikely due to his recent health complications.
So why do you think Jamie is suddenly missing a rather obvious tattoo? Could the person spotted outside be someone posing as the actor?
Is it just an edited video? Or did the actor remove his tattoo? Tell us in the comments below.
