Ryan Reynolds confirms Hugh Jackman will be back as Wolverine, and it takes the internet by storm!
Deadpool 3 is coming to the theatres in 2024 with Hugh Jackman expanding his adamantium claws as Wolverine, as confirmed by Ryan Reynolds. Next thing we know, the internet is everything but calm.
The Deadpool star took to his social media to explain why he was “extremely sad” as D23 Expo never saw any announcements related to Deadpool 3. Further, he elaborates on how after a long buildup of him having to search his soul, finding new depth, motivation, and a new meaning, he has… ‘nothing.’ Yeah, it’s just empty up there.
But they did have one idea, and Hugh Jackman walks into the scene as Ryan asks him if he wants to play Wolverine again, to which he replies, “Yeah, sure, Ryan.”
Deadpool 3, now confirmed to release on September 06, 2024, is likely to have Deadpool join the MCU.
Hugh Jackman was last seen in 2017’s Logan, directed by James Mangold. Jackman had stated earlier that Logan would see his last appearance as Wolverine, wanting new actors to take the role.
