Big Brother season 25 has been going pretty well so far, with each contestant playing their own mind games and forming allies in the house in hopes of surviving long enough to earn the Power of Veto every week.

As we’re officially in the ninth week of the twenty-fifth season, several contestants have been on the brink of eviction, and with The Exorcist: Believer-themed weekly competition, Cameron has won the Power of Veto.

So, did Cameron use the Power of Veto? No. Following his triumphant victory at the weekly competition, which served more as a promotion for The Exorcist: Believer film, Cameron Hardin became the Head of Household but chose not to use the Power of Veto, putting both Felicia Cannon and Mecole Hayes at risk of elimination.

Let’s explore the Week 9 events in detail below, including how Cameron won the Power of Veto and what he intends by choosing not to use it.

After being evicted from Big Brother 25 unanimously, Cameron Hardin fought his back in the Do or Die competition and has become even more ruthless ever since.

This Tuesday night, the contestants are provided the theme of The Exorcist: Believer as the weekly game, and although it was clearly a promotional game, it was rather entertaining.

As the houseguests gather in the living room to compete in the veto game, the trailer for The Exorcist: Believer plays, and eventually, the game resumes. In this game, each player will be left alone in a dark room.

Once they find the words written on the wall, they are entitled to find the object in the shortest time possible in order to win the Power of Veto and guess what happened.

While Mecole and Blue found the object in around 8 and 9 minutes, respectively, Cameron bested everyone and finished the game within 7 minutes, winning the Power of Veto.

Why Did Cameron Choose Not To Use the Power of Veto?

Following the veto game, Cameron has officially become the Head of Household and now holds the power to decide the fate of fellow contestants. While everyone was enthusiastic about whether he would use the Power of Veto to replace the nominee, he simply chose not to use it.

Since the two nominees who could be eliminated are Felicia and Mecole, Cameron planned for two situations. Either providing Cory with a backdoor eviction or targeting one of the two nominees.

However, his fellow Fugitive alliance members, Matt and Jag, weren’t in the same boat with each other. While Matt agreed with Cameron on the decision, Jag fought tooth and nail to save Cory from eviction.

So, Cameron has declared that he is targeting Felicia in the Week 9 eliminations since she has a lot more connections in the house compared to him, while he wins the authority by winning the competitions.

Considering that this is the last week before the Jury of 7 begins, Cameron is well aware that letting Felicia go to the Jury would end in dire consequences for himself.

Between Mecole and Felicia, the chances are the latter will be evicted from the competition and will join the houseguests who couldn’t make it to the Jury.

Nonetheless, given how Felicia is a tough competitor and can easily persuade her fellow competitors, she can turn things around anytime soon before Thursday’s eviction and save herself to stay in the house for a bit longer.

So, what do you think about Cameron’s decision not to use the Power of Veto in Week 9? Do you think it is a good decision?
