The engrossing and beautifully captured Sci-fi drama saw its finale episode just a few weeks before, and fans are already curious to witness what the series has in store in the coming season. But wait, is the series upgraded for a new season yet?

Will There Be a Silo Season 2?
Silo has officially renewed for season 2. The announcement of the same was made even before the release of the finale episode of season 1. The gripping storyline, filled with mysteries and conspiracies, was an instant hit among the viewers, so much so that the makers were compelled to make way for another season.
With the packing up of the first season, the makers have already started filming for the second season at the Hoddesdon Studios in Hertfordshire. Not just this, the series is also riding high on anticipation of another season, as Howey’s Silo consists of three parts, namely- “Wool,” “Shift,” and “Dust.” If the makers were likely to follow the book’s footprint, the Apple original series might be presented to the viewers as a trilogy.
Silo Season 2 Release Date
Although there are no official updates from the makers on the release date of the second season, considering that the series has already kickstarted its shooting for a new season, it can be guessed script of the season has already been penned down.
As many speculated that the ongoing writers’ strike might delay the release of the new season, it can be safe to say that the new season will only be available to stream in the latter months of 2024.

What Happened in Silo Season 1?
For the unversed, the series is an adaptation of author Hugh Howey’s book of the same title. In a dystopian future, a population lives in a massive underground silo that is hundreds of floors deep. There, residents live in a society where they think rules are in place to keep them safe. The first episode of the series follows a similar plot to Howey’s debut part of Silo called “Wool.”
