We are nearing the end of 2023, and the US has already experienced drastic calamities, accidents, mass shootings, and more. And the extreme climate changes have affected the nation all year long.
The recent Hawaii wildfires wreaked havoc on the island, killing, trapping, and displacing people while the emergency services were struggling to accommodate help.
Moreover, the communication services were cut off due to the high-intensity blazing fires consuming the entire region. This resulted in many being stranded in Maui and the sister islands like Kaanapalli, which wasn’t as affected as the other obliterated regions.
However, the main issue faced by the authorities was getting in contact and coordinating with the first responders and promptly answering people’s queries. Some unverified sources spread the rumors that the Deputy Administrator at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Erik Brooks, ordered the FEMA agents to restrict the supply of food, water, and other civilian relief efforts. However, these claims were soon debunked, but the miscommunication was the root of the issue.
In association with the FCC, FEMA has announced that a nationwide alert test will be conducted on October 4, 2023, to verify whether the emergency alert messages reach the people on time. The test will last for 30 minutes and will start around 2:20 p.m. Eastern time.
Why Is October 4 Trending Online? What Is Going to Happen on October 4th, 2023?
October 4 is trending online as the entire US is gearing up for an alert test. This test will be conducted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
People will receive a collective message on all communication media that statesโ
“THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.”
While the television and radio will broadcast the following message at the scheduled time.
“This is a nationwide test of the Emergency Alert System, issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, covering the United States from 14:20 to 14:50 hours ET. This is only a test. No action is required by the public.”
FEMA and FCC Plan Nationwide Emergency Alert Test Explained
The FEMA authorities have clarified the reason behind the scheduled alert test as a means to ensure that the nation remains connected during dire emergencies.
The representatives stated that the citizens need not worry about anythingโ
“The systems continue to be effective means of warning the public about emergencies, particularly those on the national level.”
There shall also be no requirements to register to take part in the test. After thirty minutes, people can continue to use their devices as usual as soon as the test is done.
Conspiracy Theories on The Nationwide Alert Test
According to a few online theories, the collective alert messages might cause a snowball effect of combined radiation. The theory suggests that this can lead to health hazards.
Youtuber Offgrid Secrets chimes in on the theory, statingโ
“I’m no scientist but I don’t know the effect of having multiple of millions of people up to four hundreds and millions of people having their phones ringing at the same time over a 30-minute period. I don’t know what that will doโฆ there have been studies that show mobile phone and Wi-Fi radiation can affect them [insects] and disturb their circadian rhythms and immune system function. So, it could be catastrophic trying to use everyone’s phone at the exact same time for not only human health potentially but insects, birds, bees things like that so that’s my prediction.”
However, this theory cannot be substantiated and was soon debunked as this nationwide alert test was conducted at least seven times earlier. In case of an actual national emergency on October 4, the backup rescheduling of the alert test will be conducted on October 11.

We all know that sound weapons are real. Police and military use them all the time. What if the government uses a sound weapon during this test and it causes illness and death? What if they use that to say Putin (their go-to bad guy) did and use that as Article 5 (NATO) to attack Russia? What if others are right that this thing will activate something in the vaccine and cause rabies-like symptoms which are present like what we see in zombie movies? remember the US Government has been experimenting on Americans for decades. What’s to stop them now?
