In the thrilling climax of the Shibuya Incident arc, Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 22 has prepared us for an intense showdown, with Yuji facing one of his most perilous battles.

However, the unexpected arrival of Pseudo-Geto has diverted attention toward a potentially chaotic turn of events on the battlefield.

As Yuji and Todo stand ready to eliminate Mahito, the presence of Geto’s body raises questions about Pseudo-Geto’s true intentions and whether they align with their original plan.

Warning: This article contains spoilers about Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 22.

In Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 22, an unforeseen turn of events unfolds as Geto captures and consumes a surprised Mahito while the latter fails to attack him. Geto’s patient strategy to absorb Mahito’s Idle Transfiguration technique pays off, allowing him to unleash his Supreme Art, Uzumaki, with devastating consequences.

In the latest episode, number 22, of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, titled “Metamorphosis, Part 2,” the battleground witnesses a dramatic shift with the unexpected appearance of Pseudo-Geto.

The previous encounter between Pseudo-Geto and Mei Mei, along with her brother, had left viewers in suspense regarding its outcome, adding to the intrigue surrounding the ongoing Shibuya Incident Arc.

As the arc approaches its climactic conclusion, Mahito turns to Kenjaku/Geto for assistance in dealing with the formidable duo of Todo and Yuji.

This sets the stage for a massive showdown between Geto and Yuji, with Geto harboring sinister intentions and his own dangerous plan.

In a surprising turn of events, Mahito’s attempt to touch Geto leads to his capture and consumption by the latter.

This unexpected twist leaves Mahito unprepared and unable to mount an attack against Geto, raising questions about the true nature of Pseudo-Geto’s scheme.

Geto takes this opportunity to explain the concept of Supreme Arts, also known as Maximum Techniques.

These techniques represent a user’s most potent innate cursed abilities, separate from their domain. Geto’s Supreme Art, known as Uzumaki, enables him to merge all his curses, resulting in a devastating high-density blast.

A crucial revelation comes to light for those closely following the anime: Kenjaku had been patiently waiting to absorb Mahito, as he needed the latter’s Idle Transfiguration technique to develop sufficiently to execute his plan effectively.

I don't doubt it considering the added portrayal of Special Grades in present day, the value given to experience/skill, Geto's own determination in Volume 0 & his condition after.

This revelation adds depth to the series’s intricate web of plots and motives.

With his mastery of Cursed Spirit Manipulation and the formidable Maximum: Uzumaki technique, Pseudo-Geto proves to be a formidable adversary, pushing Yuji to his limits in a brutal battle.

Emotions run high as Choso grapples with the shocking revelation that his creator’s identity resides within Geto’s body.

Episode 46 of #JujutsuKaisen was cool! Jujutsu High students converge for one final clash against Imposter Geto. As this happens, Choso reveals shocking info about the man controlling Geto's body and then fights to protect Yuji, who he believes is his brother. Overall, 10/10! pic.twitter.com/q4praPRKG8

This newfound connection with Yuji fuels his determination, leading to a fierce clash of titans. However, their efforts face disruption as Uraume enters the fray, unleashing an icy onslaught and further complicating the battlefield.

Amidst the chaos, Yuki Tsukumo arrives, demonstrating her shikigami prowess and posing a mysterious question to Geto. This enigmatic development adds an extra layer of intrigue to the unfolding events.

since kenjaku (or rather geto’s) ability allows for the summoning of whatever curses he absorbs, do you think he’s going to summon mahito again in battle? if he does i think i will have to end my life ❤️ pic.twitter.com/V5bV9CCiNX

With the stage set for a climactic clash, the Shibuya Incident Arc hurtles toward a gripping resolution, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next episode to uncover the fate of their beloved characters.

As the battle rages on, Jujutsu Kaisen continues to deliver intense and thrilling storytelling, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats.

Jujutsu Kaisen season 2, episode 23, the finale, will air on December 28, 2023.

What do you think will happen in the finale of season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen? Will we ever see Mahito again?
