Finally, on August 14, 2023, Bell and Shepard addressed the issue on their ‘Armchair Expert podcast,’ claiming that they did move into a place after being kicked out by the staff at the airport.
What Happened with Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard at the Boston Airport?
Kristen shared a story on her Instagram in July with captions, “Stranded at the Boston airport” and “9 hours of delays and…”. This one story was enough to create chaos on the internet, just like people sharing MrBeast on their Instagram.
Kristen claimed that she, her husband, Dax Shepard, along with their friends and family, experienced an unexpected ordeal at Boston’s Logan International Airport.
Kristen explained that their flight was facing an excruciating delay of over 9 hours. The situation was too sudden and left them in an unstable situation with no available hotel lodgings nearly 50 miles away.
As a result, the whole crew resorted to makeshift camping at the airport’s front gate. The idea didn’t sit well with airport authorities, and they were soon asked to leave the premises.
Meanwhile, the couple then shared their story on their Instagram account. Kristen documented the campout while expressing her frustration over the situation. She claimed,
“After 7 hours of delay, the flight was kicked to the next day altogether. ZERO vacancies in the greater Boston area”.
Notably, in the video, Dax revealed that they paid $600 for their unexpected stay. He further revealed that they had to purchase pillows and blankets from the airport to make their ‘camping’ experience a bit more comfortable. But, the amusement was short-lived, and the staff of the airport asked them to stop their unauthorized camping adventure.
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Address the Airport Drama
Just after the couple shared their story, people on the internet started commenting and questioning them. For the time being, the couple stayed quiet and expressed nothing.
But, on 14th August 2023, Kristen and Dax finally decided to address the situation through their “Armchair Expert podcast.”
Shepard commented-
“I guess I was confused when I saw these really angry comments on my post because I can’t figure out what makes someone mad about that story,….” He further added,“….A lot of people just get on the internet and they say ‘buddy, what should I Google?’ And they just Google angry, mad stuff. They want to be angry about something.”
Shepard and Bell clarified that they did manage to get a place to stay and spent the night there. But, at that moment, no hotel was available in the 50 miles of range.
Furthermore, Bell tried to conclude the issue by commenting-
“Ultimately, it’s not about us, It’s about the person making the comment. People are going to make sh—-y comments and the more time and energy you give to thinking about it, the more they’re justified to do it.”
