Imagine being in your most helpless state, in a most vulnerable setup, and then enduring lifelong embarrassment because of it.
Besides a fatal crash, what is the one thing you would consider the worst that could happen in a flight?
Well, the passengers of Delta flight have a story to tell for ages.
Zach Elliott’s medical emergency of uncontrollable diarrhea caused the plane to turn around within just two hours of the flight while delaying the schedule by eight hours. The cabin crew took five hours to complete the cleaning process. However, not much information is disclosed on Zach Elliott on account of the passenger’s privacy policy.
Who Is Zach Elliott on Delta Flight?
A passenger traveling via Delta flight faces an ‘excremity’…err…extremity (slip of pun) while above 30,000 feet from the ground level. Within the confines of a cramped airline, poor Zach Elliott had to navigate through the aisles as he struggled with uncontrollable diarrhea.
As per the airline policy, they have not revealed much information on the passengers. However, it was later revealed that Elliott boarded the flight again after it was delayed after five hours of cleaning process.
What Happened on Delta Flight?
Airbus A 350 was scheduled to fly from Atlanta to Barcelona, carrying around 336 people. About two hours after the take-off, the entire plane turned into a pungent pit as the overpowering smell compelled to use the oxygen mask.
Chaos ensued in the flight after the passenger, Elliott, suffered a personal turbulence. His haywire bowel movements called for a medical emergency. The cabin crew hurried to get the situation under control, but the deed was done.
The pilot announced from the cockpit that a “biohazard factor” was looming inside the plane and asked the passengers to cooperate. The crew tried to contain the situation, but a passenger reported that the plane was still “smelling like vanilla excrement.”
The pilot then turned around the flight to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport after the situation took an adverse turn.
The cleaning process went on for about five hours while the passengers waited at the airport. Meanwhile, Elliott seemed to have slowly recovered from the aftermath and exhaustion from diarrhea. He was reportedly in stable condition after immediate medical attention.
After about eight hours of delay, all the passengers boarded the flight, including Zach Elliott.
