In a shocking turn of events, a former deputy Sheriff from San Diego is convicted of crimes that are sure to startle you, like it did many. Fleer had been charged with several felonies for his unlawful sexual connections with nearly 5-6 underage girls, a case that came to light in 2020.
Now the case has finally seen some progress, as last he was seen pleading guilty for his actions. The San Diego judge has announced its judgment; read to know more on the case.
Who Is Jaylen Fleer?
Jaylen Fleer is a 27-year-old former Sheriff’s deputy from San Diego. Jaylen Fleer was quite an accomplished individual with a lot of passion. He was particularly good at baseball during his time at Santana High School, where he made a huge impression on the field.
But despite his success in athletics, Jaylen decided to pursue his dream of becoming a law enforcement officer, which led to a big change in his career.
He’s happily married, but we don’t know much about his wife or her personality, as Jaylen has always preferred to keep it lowkey. He shares a son with his wife, which is all we know so far about his married life.
Unfortunately, we also don’t know much about what led to his career change and what prompted him to get involved in such dark activities, and we haven’t been able to find any information about his past criminal records either.
Where Is Jaylen Fleer Now?
Jaylen Fleer, as of now, is being handed over a 12-year imprisonment sentence by a San Diego judge, a post he pled guilty for his charges. Fleer was convicted of including in sexual activities with four underage girls, along with attempting to date a minor girl for sexual purposes.
As of now, Fleer pleaded guilty to the 20 felony charges and misdemeanor counts for his offense; it was recorded that his sexual offenses occurred from March 27th, 2020, to April 08th, 2020.
Upon reaching the age of 28, Fleer became the focus of an extensive and thorough investigation carried out by the authorities responsible for law enforcement. The probe lasted for a period of four months and centered on Fleer’s alleged involvement in criminal activities.
Following the completion of the investigation, Fleer was taken into custody and subsequently sentenced to a period of incarceration, in addition to being required to complete a probationary period upon release. The circumstances surrounding his arrest were notably of startling and surprising nature for many.
What Did Jaylen Fleer Do?
Fleer had been involved in sexual activities with as many as four minor girls; the victims are identified as Jane Does 1-4. Fleer even took part in oral copulation with a 16-year-old, as recorded in the month of April.
Apart from this, Fleer dated underage girls with emotive to develop sexual activities with them, a few as young as 14 or 15 years old, as he was also convicted for using their bodies for sexual pleasure unlawfully. For his actions, Jaylen was sentenced 12-year imprisonment along with being labeled as a ‘sex offender’ for the rest of his life by the San Diego judge.
It was revealed in the court that Fleer would pay girls to spend time with him and would even insist on bringing their other “younger” friends. David Shapiro, defense attorney, argued that Fleer was undertaking therapy sessions and had even successfully undertaken 46 sessions, adding that Fleer had accepted his mistakes.
The victims, however, feared registering a complaint to the police as Fleer himself was the police.
