You may have been familiar with Fatboy SSE for his music and song releases over the years, including Found Myself and 12 Days, but he is also quite famous for acting in the Couples Retreat reality TV series.
Recently, the rapper found himself in a controversy following a video that seemed like an assault on his wife, although the opinions are seemingly biased. So, who is Fatboy SSE married to?
Fatboy SSE married Tiana Kimbrough, an Instagram celebrity and model, in 2020. Recently, the rapper faced controversy for allegedly assaulting his wife, with the video caught on camera and went viral on social media.
Who Is Fatboy SSE Married To?
Fatboy SSE, also known as Tyriq Thomas Kimbrough, is a comedian and rapper known for his influential songs Fu*k Burger King, 12 Days, and Found Myself.
He was married to the popular Instagram celebrity and model Tiana Kimbrough in 2020, with the couple sharing their mutual love through their social media accounts.
The couple also starred in the famous reality TV series Couples Retreat and explained that they both met through Instagram, and Fatboy SSE thought she was the woman of his dreams.
What Did Fatboy SSE Do?
In a video shared on Instagram, Fatboy SSE argued with his wife, Tiana Kimbrough, while she was in the salon getting her nails done.
The argument started when Fatboy SSE entered through the door and asked Tiana to give his mother’s keys back, which she refused to do. While he kept asking her the same, she denied it and waved him to go home.
Eventually, the situation escalated, and Fatboy SSE wanted to take the key from her forcibly, during which Tiana fought with him. When he almost got a hold of the key, he pushed her, and she fell.
However, he managed to grab her phone, and when he asked for the key again, she denied it once again, leading to the rapper breaking her phone. In the end, Fatboy SSE left the salon without getting his keys.
The whole situation seems unclear, and no one is sure why Tiana Kimbrough held onto Fatboy SSE’s mother’s key, but many people began criticizing him for assaulting his wife.
On the other hand, people who felt the opinions were too biased as there was no hitting or punching during their arguments expressed their views, saying that Tiana taunted the rapper and unnecessarily escalated the argument.
Here are a few reactions from Instagram and X:
“I don’t condone him breaking her phone, but why do you have his mother’s key, and he’s asking you for it multiple times and you won’t give it to him?? I’m definitely not siding with anybody, but she definitely antagonized him in the situation. Why not just give him the key and let him go.”
“Why are they always threatening jail when he barely touches you? Just give him his keys.”
Sensibly, both parties seem to be at fault here, with Tiana holding onto his mother’s keys and Fatboy SSE losing control over his emotions, demanding the keys.
While we don’t condemn his or her actions, it is not up to us to judge without knowing the complete situation, especially when the video shared on Instagram only puts one side of the situation on the table.
So, what do you think about this incident? Do you believe Fatboy SSE was in the wrong?
