Finally, after more than a decade of investigation, the authorities were able to catch the suspect in the Gilgo Beach murder case on Long Island, New York.
The person’s name is Rex Heuermann, and he is 59 years old. This is a significant development that gives us hope for justice in a case that has been confusing and concerning for everyone involved, including law enforcement and the general public.

Rosetti said,
“The cause of this accident was the negligent driving by an intoxicated driver. The evidence showed Mr. Heuermann had a blood alcohol level of .20, twice the legal limit … and a blood cocaine level of .05 milligrams.”
“Obviously, this was a man who should not have been driving.”
