Her relationship ensued after she separated from Will Smith in 2016, during which she became involved romantically with August Alsina. However, Jada and Will Smith eventually reconciled after she broke things off with the singer.
Who Is August Alsina?
August Alsina is a famous American singer born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on September 3, 1992. He started uploading music videos on YouTube in 2007 when he was just 14 years old.
His inspiration to get into the music industry was ignited by Lauryn Hill in Sister Act 2. After facing several family issues, including the untimely death of his older brother, Melvin La’Branch III, Alsina moved to Atlanta in 2011.
However, Alsina’s life didn’t get any easier as he was constantly under deteriorating health conditions with his degenerative eye disease as well as a liver-related ailment.
Furthermore, his sister Chandra passed away in 2018 due to cancer, and he became the legal guardian of his three nieces, whom he’s been taking care of ever since.

This was only revealed in October 2023, meaning it has been seven years since the last time they were actually a couple. However, since his breakup with Jada, Alsina hasn’t been in contact with her.
Nonetheless, her breakup with Alsina seems to have impacted the singer as he released several songs over the past few years describing the heartbreak he faced by being in a relationship with Jada.
