We have been waiting from “Dusk Till Dawn,” and finally, we get to see Zayn Malik. He appeared in an interview at a video podcast, “Call Her Daddy,” where he showed a glimpse of his true self.
He opened up about his part in one of the most famous bands in the world, One Direction, to his departure from the band.
Zayn talks about the most significant phase of his life as a father to his daughter Khai. He considers himself a changed man and evolved from his social anxiety, and he dedicates his efforts to put himself out there to his daughter. He mentions doing this interview only to show his daughter what her dad is capable of.
“Since I’ve had my daughter, the main thing in my mind is trying to be a good example to her.”
“That’s why I’m even doing this interview, you know? I used to get a lot of anxiety around having a conversation like this. And I want her to be able to look at me and be like, ‘My dad’s doing this.'”
After six years of hiatus and a self-healing journey, Zayn is ready to address his fans, who have been anticipating his comeback for years. Zayn was last in the spotlight after his publicly ugly breakup with long-time girlfriend and supermodel Gigi Hadid in October 2021.
Zayn and Gigi were first seen together in November 2015 and then announced their relationship on Instagram a month later. Gigi also appeared in his most famous 2016 music video, Pillow Talk. The couple painted the town red with major public appearances like the MET gala; they were the It-couple.
However, on March 13, 2018, Malik took to Twitter to announce his amicable split from the supermodelโ
“Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul. I’m grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time … we love you all.”

And it seems they were not ready to call it quits forever, as they got back together two months later. After several on-and-off phases in their relationship, Hadid announced on April 29, 2020, that they would have a baby. In September 2020, they welcomed their baby-girl Khai.
However, they officially broke up on October 2021. Only this time, it turned out unfavorable for both. A few days after the split, Zayn was accused of a physical altercation with Gigi’s mother, Yolanda. Malik had apparently shoved Yolanda at their Pennsylvania home. But Malik pleaded no contest against Gigi, Yolanda, and their security guard.
He was given a 360 days probation.
Where Does Zayn Live?
Zayn and Gigi lived together in their Pennsylvania home. After the breakup in 2021, he searched for a home in the vicinity so that he could be close to his daughter.
He was previously living at Yolanda Hadid’s Bucks County farmhouse. But after the incident, he moved out of the place to find his own home. In a recent interview with “Call Her Daddy,” he reveals his stance on the alleged fightโ
“I knew what the situation was, I knew what happened, and the people involved knew what happened too, and that’s all I really cared about,”
“If anybody of a sane mind would look at the situation, I believe you could respect that I just didn’t want to bring attention to anything. I wasn’t trying to get into a negative back and forth with her.”
“I believe I dealt with it in the best way. In an amicable, respectful way, and that’s all that needs to be said.”
Where Is Zayn Malik Currently Living?
According to the sources, Zayn lives in a nearby neighborhood of the Pennsylvania home with Gigi. He has gained equal custody of their daughter, Khai. He actively wants to be a part of Khai’s life and watch her grow.
Zayn has come a long way from his initial days at One Direction when he bought his mother a house. After leaving the band, he lived with his mother, Tricia Brannan, for a few years.
Now, at age 28, he seems fulfilled with life as his daughter has brought new light. He dedicates his time to Khai and plans to release his next single, “Love Like This,” to release by the end of this month. He will also be lending his voice to an animated movie alongside Bridgerton Star Simone Ashley.
Seems like Zayn is finally back!
