We have all heard the Nick Cannon jokes, memes, and hot takes. After all, having 12 children in this day and age will turn heads. But what if someone fathered 37 kids?!
Foreheads don’t have the space to accommodate the eyebrows getting launched after hearing this news. One would think it’s a joke, but it’s precisely what the Les Twins have been accused of.
TikTok user @Lil_Curvy_ accused one of the Les Twins of fathering 37 kids. She stated that she was impregnated by one of them but had no idea which one because they kept switching places while dating her. Laurent Bourgeois has debunked the claims, but Larry has yet to make a statement.
Who Are The Les Twins?
The Les Twins are Laurent and Larry Bourgeois, two identical brothers who became famous after becoming two of Beyoncé’s backup dancers. But their resume isn’t limited to just the mega popstar.
They have also worked with Missy Elliot, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Lopez, and Megan Trainor. The twins are from Sarcelles, France, and are New-Style Hip-Hop dancers.
The twins have been training since they were ten and have participated in high-profile competitions like France’s version of America’s Got Talent and Juste Debout.
Also, they are signed with Michael Jordan and, in fact, are the only dancers to be so. They designed shoes for the 2019 Jordan Collection, which sold out.
The two 34-year-old twins have one daughter each. Laurent Bourgeois has fathered Maelina, while Larry is the father of Lilowe.
What Is The Les Twins Controversy?
A TikTok by user @Lil_Curvy_ is going viral because of a shocking accusation. She claims that she is going to be the mother of one of the Les Twins’ kids and accused one of them of fathering 37 kids.
She detailed:
“This person with a profile wears out women, even if it means accumulating several relationships a day by promising and acting in the same way with everyone in order to find a woman who will offer him twins.”
Then she dropped the bombshell:
“You should know that he already has 37 other children to his credit, whom he has abandoned.”
Another TikTok user, @nosybystanders, stepped in to explain and elaborate on the eyebrow-raising controversy. She stated that the Les Twins were switching places while dating women in the hopes of getting them pregnant with twins. The TikToker said:
“When they sleep with women, they get bored, they just play the switcheroo, and then the girl thinks that she’s dating one of the Les Twins when she’s sleeping with the other one.”
She explained that TikToker @Lil_Curvy_ has no idea who her baby’s father is because they allegedly keep switching places. Also, she said:
“The twins are incredibly competitive, and they want to be one of the first to have a set of twins themselves.”
The sheer drama of this has gripped the internet in a fever dream. The memes coming out of this are hilarious and laughter riot-inducing.
One Twitter/ X user, @chronicallysal, said, “Les Twins single-handedly attempting to repopulate the earth by having a child at every Renaissance World Tour Stop.”
Another user, @ceeace9, joked, “Here’s me thinking the Les twins share 37 children between them, but it’s just one LOOOOOL.”
However, people have also begun casting doubt on the accusations. X/ Twitter user @peculiarnig*a wrote:
“How on earth would Les twins be able to trick women into sleeping with/ both of them when they have different tattoos on opposite arms and each other’s face tatted on their hands? Disney Channel a*s storyline. They don’t look THAT alike.”
Others are also commenting that someone fathering 37 kids sounds ridiculous.
Did One Of The Les Twins Really Father 37 Kids?
Laurent Bourgeois addressed and debunked the rumors of being a father to 37 kids on the November 5th Instagram Live he held. He stated:
“My image is way too clean… and if you find my 37 kids, tell them I love them so much. If they need a daddy, I’m here.”
He further ridiculed the sheer number of the alleged kids and said:
“Give me the baby mama’s names. Where are they at? I want to see the babies. I want to see what they look like, but I need you guys to understand- let’s do ten babies. That’s a lot! 37? You guys are crazy.”
Larry, the other half of the duo, hasn’t made any statements yet.
What do you think of this bombshell controversy? Are the TikTok users just trying to get views and go viral? Or do you think there’s truth to the accusations?
