It is always a delight when two adored idols express their admiration for each other. While we see these kinds of instances plenty of times, it is rare among different careers, especially between actors and artists.

However, fans of BTS’ V have recently found a close friend of the artist, a famous actor named Park Hyung-Sik, who appreciated the former’s work in an interview. So, what did he say in the interview?

On September 16, 2023, Strong Girl Do Bong Soon and Happiness actor Park Hyung-Sik visited Hong Kong to meet his fans as part of the Asian tour fan meeting “SIKcret Time.” During the interview, when asked about his favorite song, he mentioned that he likes his friend V’s Rainy Days song from the latest Layover album.

As we know, Park Hyung-Sik has always been humble and one of the most down-to-earth celebrities in the Korean industry, who is often well-known for being calm and cool. But what many K-pop listeners may not know is that he is friends with BTS singer V.

Their friendship dates back to the year when the popular historical K-drama Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth was released in 2016. Apparently, the two have shared a close bond since then.

They even formed the Wooga Squad to cement their friendship, which was Itaewon Class’ Park Seo Joon’s idea when they met back on Hwarang’s set. Wooga implies the term’ family,’ meaning they all share a very close bond and often spend time together when they are not busy with their respective professions.

So, it is not much of a surprise that Park Hyung-Sik has praised Kim Tae-hyung for his singing talent and even mentioned his Rainy Days as his favorite song.

What Did Park Hyung-Sik Say About V and His Song During the Interview?

In the interview that Park Hyung-Sik attended as part of the fan meeting, the actor was asked various questions, including what role he wants to play in the future.

Among many questions, the one that caught everyone’s eye was his favorite song, to which he provided a surprising answer. The actor mentioned that he has been listening to Rainy Days for a while now, and it has also become his favorite song.

Furthermore, he revealed that he had been asked to promote Rainy Days song but didn’t mention that V, aka Kim Tae-hyung, specifically did that, but fans are quick to catch on.

In his exact words, here’s what he said in the interview:

“My favorite song, my friend (Kim Tae-hyung) recently released a new song, so I often listen to it, ‘Rainy Days.’ I am often asked to help promote it and have been listening to it a lot lately.”

K-pop fans exaggerate everything, whether backing up their idol, roasting those who look down on them, or even appreciating someone who genuinely shares positive things about the artists.

While many claim that Park Hyung-Sik has always been a sweet person who supported V by promoting his songs, many recently learned about their friendship and are fawning over the actor’s kind nature. You can see more of these reactions from the tweets below.
