Ahsoka is an upcoming Star Wars project expected to release in 2023, developed by ace filmmakers Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni. Both the directors played a crucial role in the exponential rise of MCU and the Star Wars Universe, a dynamic duo that can even make Stormtroopers hit a bullseye.
Ahsoka Tano, played by Rosario Dawson, made her live-action series debut in The Mandalorian. Dawson will reprise her role as Ahsoka in the upcoming animated series too. Apart from The Mandalorian series, Ahsoka was a recurring character from the cult-hit Star Wars: The Clone Wars, created by the mastermind, George Lucas.

Eman Esfandi is somewhat of an unknown artist in the industry, but rest assured, He is a terrific actor. Esfandi has acted in several movies, including Red 11, The King Richard, and The Inspection. Since the announcement, even his Instagram handle is gaining followers every hour. So much so that the fans are even calling him a “perfect” Ezra Bridger due to his looks.
Who would play Ezra in the series has been the subject of speculation for months. Many names were doing around in the headlines and fan forums, but the one that stuck around the most was The Alladin star, Mena Massoud.
The fan community was already half convinced that Massoud would be cast alongside Rosario Dawson. Alas, the role went on to Esfandi. After the announcement, Massoud tweeted out, “Glad the rumors will stop now. Never really had a fair shot at it unfortunately (1 self-tape months ago) but just wasn’t meant for me I guess. Can’t deny the dude looks exactly like Ezra. Hope it’s done justice!”
