The anime records the events that transpired when the titular character was tender and how he met Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno of Team 7, led by Kakashi Hatake. This was followed by a series of unfortunate events when Orochimaru of the legendary Sannin primarily operated as the antagonist.
Later on, the Pervy Sage Jiraiya helps Naruto discover his true power as the host of the Nine-Tailed Beast. The series is generously filled with light-hearted moments, such as the camaraderie that develops in Team 7, Might Guy, and Rock Lee’s antics. It also has its fair share of darkness, mostly when the snakey scientist appears.

To celebrate the latest anniversary, Studio Pierrot decided to release re-animated footage from the first series. It is a 9-minute clip focussing on the best moments in the anime. Many iconic featured songs like “Haruka Kanata” by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION and “Blue Bird” by Ikimonogatari are included. You can watch it here.

When a short snippet of the video was shared on Twitter via Shonenleaks, MrBeast asked how much it would cost to remaster the whole series with world-class animation. A man with the username “Leonidus1989” responded by saying costs could go up to 9 million dollars.
