If you want a Pokémon with powerful moves, then you should choose Quaxly for the starter path in A Paldean Adventure. The starters you choose will evolve into their final form by the end of the quest, and Quaxly’s final form, Quadaval, gives the best advantage in battles.

Here are the evolution requirements of all the starter Pokémons in the quest. The Pokémons can be evolved to their second stage with 25 candies and to their final form with 100 candies.

Quadaval, the evolved form of Quaxley, has powerful, fast moves like Water Gun, Wing Attack, and charged moves like Liquidation. And Close Combat. The Pokémon offers flexibility, and its Water/Fighting type is one of the best in the game.

A Paldean Adventure Date and Tasks

The Pokémon Go Paldean Adventure Special Research became available to all players on September 5, 2023, and will remain active till December 1, 2023, at 9:59 AM local time.

The special quest consists of three paths featuring Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly., out of which you can only choose one and proceed with it to succeed in the tasks. There are five stages, and each stage has its own rewards after the completion of tasks.

Here are the first three stages of the quest and their rewards;

• Stage 1: Catch 8 Pokémon (20 Pokeballs); Rewards: 900 XP, 900 Stardust.
• After completing the first task, you will be asked to choose a starter that you will continue with Fuecoco, Sprigatito, or Quaxly.
• Stage 2: After choosing your Pokémon, you have to complete the following tasks. After their completion, you will be rewarded with 900 XP and an encounter with the Pokémon you chose.

• Stage 3: In this stage, you must again complete the tasks in return for 900 XP and an encounter with an unknown Pokémon.

There are five stages in total in A Paldean Adventure, but the third stage is time-gated, and the fourth and fifth stages will be revealed only after Tuesday, September 12.
