Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is all set to dock on Crunchyroll soon.
Occult fanatics and otaku, a hit movie will soon be broadcasted via the leading anime streaming platform.
Gege Akutami is the writer and illustrator of the prequel manga that links up with the highly-popular Jujutsu Kaisen. Sunghoo Park is the director, and Hiroshi Seko is the film’s writer.
Like the anime that ran for 26 episodes, Studio MAPPA tackles the animation. Hiroyuki Tsutsumi, Yoshimasa Terui, and Alisa Okehazama are the composers responsible for the music department. The box office collections have proven that it is one of the most successful films in Japan this year. The movie has gathered almost $200 million from theatres worldwide.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 had released in India on June 30th this year. According to reports from official sources, it collected Rs. 1.5 crore on the first day itself. In metro cities like Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi, and Kolkata, several theatres witnessed Housefull days because of this movie, despite the dry spell that was running rampant post the pandemic. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 focuses on Okkotsu Yuta, one of the S-grade Jujutsu practitioners haunted by the spirit of his childhood playmate and loved one, Rika-chan. Under the guidance of expert sorcerer Satoru Gojo, Yuta joins Jujutsu High and receives a hostile greeting led by Maki Zennin, Inumaki Toge, and Panda. Over time, Yuta learns how to channel Rika’s cursed energy against formidable curses and worse enemies.
Jujutsu Kaisen
It follows the story of Itadori Yuji, who swallows a special-grade cursed object that is a finger belonging to the murderous Ryomen Sukuna. Gojo takes him under his wing and teaches Yuji to handle his power better. After the latter takes a liking to him, the protagonist also receives significant help from his “besto friendo,” Aoi Todo. Itadori also gains trustworthy companions like Nobara Kugisaki and Megumi Fushiguro.
As revealed in the Crunchyroll Expo 2022, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will be available to stream on September 21.
