Taylor Swift’s romance with NFL superstar Travis Kelce has captured the nation’s imagination. Almost every week, there are reports on how supportive they are of each other.
Also, with Swift attending the Kansas City Chiefs games and Kelce attending her Brazil concert and meeting Papa Swift, many wonder if the couple is ready to take the next step.
Could they be engaged soon? Or, as whispers say- are they engaged already?
As of writing, Taylor Swift isn’t engaged to Travis Kelce. However, One Tree Hill star Hilarie Burton thinks they will be engaged by May 2024. Also, as sources suggest, they plan to spend the Holidays and New Year together.
Is Popstar Taylor Swift Engaged to NFL Hero Travis Kelce?
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce haven’t been dating for long. They were first rumored to be together when Swift attended a Chief’s game in September. But since then, they have been moving really fast.
Recently, Kelce showed up to Taylor’s November 11 concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and met her dad there. Also, they hugged and kissed after Taylor was done with her concert.
The video went viral, and everyone wondered when Kelce would put a ring on the 33-year-old global superstar.
But there is no official news about them actually getting engaged. Neither Swift nor Kelce’s teams have confirmed it. So, as of now, those are just rumors.
However, US Weekly has reported that their relationship is moving fast, and they plan to spend Christmas and the New Year holiday together. As per the magazine:
“Travis has already started Christmas shopping and has some really special surprises [for Taylor] in-store. Their connection is off the charts, and they can’t wait to celebrate together.”
A source has also informed the magazine about how the 34-year-old pro footballer and Swift are coordinating their plans so that they can spend more and more time with each other. They revealed:
“They have very detailed plans coming up while she’s on tour, and he has games. Taylor and Travis have the next few months completely laid out. They don’t want to start their relationship off with big gaps [in time spent apart]. They’re trying to be as much like a regular couple as possible.”
Also, as per the magazine, the couple is in love, and Taylor sees “long-term potential with Travis.” So, could an engagement be coming soon? One Tree Hill actress Hilarie Burton thinks so.
Billboard quoted her saying:
“They are gonna have the most flannel lined, pie and red ribbon kinda Christmas…. And then these babies are gonna be engaged by May.”
But why does she think they will be engaged so soon? It’s because Taylor might have finally found her match in Travis. Burton explained:
“Every other guy made her feel like she had to downplay her own work. This big ol beefy tree of a man is holding up signs and singing along! Catching her as she runs offstage?!?! Get a man who lights up when you win.”
Many of Swift’s fans also think Kelce being supportive when Taylor is going through a hard time is a sign that their relationship will last. After all, during her Brazil Eras Tour, two of her fans passed away- Ana Clara Benevides and Gabriel Santos.
A source revealed:
“He’s been a huge support system for her right now. Her family has been there, but it’s different to have a boyfriend to lean on.”
