Kevin Spacey has been pretty clear on his stance regarding his sexuality. The House of Cards actor told that he had been willing to come out as gay but instead held back his decision as his father was against it. He said he struggled with coming out as gay for the longest as his father was extremely racist and homophobic.
Other than that, he blamed his complicated family dynamics as a reason for not openly talking about his sexuality. But has the actor ever confirmed this?

Yes. Kevin Spacey came out as a gay person in 2017. Although the circumstances under which he came out put him under fire. At that time, Kevin was been acquitted by a London jury as he was pressed with sexual assault allegations.
Regarding his announcement, Kevin Spacey provided an explanation for his actions. However, he received backlash for utilizing the opportunity to shift the focus away from the accusations leveled against him. In his defense, Spacey asserted that he had been contemplating making his sexual orientation public for a significant period of time and had even considered doing so at an event two years prior.
He recognized that the LGBTQ+ community had been advocating for him to come out for quite some time.

Allegations have been made against the Oscar winner, Kevin Spacey, by three men who claim that he grabbed their crotches. Furthermore, an aspiring actor who sought mentorship from Spacey has accused him of inappropriate behavior.
The incident reportedly occurred after the actor went to Spacey’s London apartment for a beer and either fell asleep or passed out. The actor later woke up to find Spacey engaging in oral sex towards him.
These allegations have caused a great deal of concern and have brought about a serious investigation into the matter.
Another man accused him that he grabbed his private parts at backstage of a show.
As per the statement given by Kevin’s defense lawyer, Patrick Gibbs, it was revealed that three men who had made allegations against Kevin were not truthful in their claims and had twisted the incidents to make them appear more sinister than they actually were. Gibbs further alleged that most of the men had jumped on a “bandwagon” of complaints with the aim of receiving a large payout.
This information sheds light on the possibility of ulterior motives behind some of the allegations made against Kevin.
