Is Hudson School Teacher Arrested Again?
For the second time this week, a teacher from the Hudson City School District has been taken into custody, this time for trespassing on school grounds on Friday.
Anthony Schupp, aged 34, was apprehended by the police in the high school parking lot before the commencement of the school day. It has been verified that Schupp did not enter the school building.
On Friday’s incident, Schupp face charges of inducing panic and criminal trespassing. Remarkably, this arrest comes as the second within a week, with the previous one involving Schupp being taken into custody at his residence after reportedly trespassing on Hudson High School property while on administrative leave.
During the earlier arrest, Schupp was charged with criminal trespassing and inducing panic.
Schupp pleaded not guilty to these charges on Thursday during a court appearance, during which a judge set a $2,500 bond for him and imposed a no-contact order with Hudson City Schools. According to reports, authorities spotted the teacher’s truck on school premises, prompting a police search of the school premises.
Importantly, this incident took place before classes commenced, ensuring that neither students nor staff were at risk.
Details from a police report revealed that Erie County authorities had issued an alert regarding the possibility of the teacher possessing a firearm. In response, a welfare check was carried out, during which the teacher’s family stated that no threats were made, and the teacher declined contact with law enforcement officers.

An educator linked to Hudson High School in Ohio has been arrested for reportedly trespassing on school grounds. 34-year-old teacher Schupp, who had been on prior administrative leave, now faces charges of inducing panic in the first-degree and fourth-degree criminal trespassing. For the unversed, the incident took place on the inaugural day of classes for grades 10 and 12.
Schupp’s involvement in the case originates from his placement on administrative leave, during which he was instructed to stay away from the school premises. However, his truck was discovered parked adjacent to the school’s flagpole on a morning before classes had officially commenced.
As per the authorities, due to Schupp’s early morning arrival at the school, classes were not yet started, James Field, a Board of Education member, reported that upon learning of Schupp’s presence, the school initiated a brief lockdown.
Law enforcement quickly responded to the situation and conducted a thorough search of the vicinity. However, they were unable to locate Schupp at that time. Subsequently, it was discovered that the individual accused of trespassing had already left the scene and returned home.
Schupp’s pre-trial court hearing is slated for September 19th at 8:30 a.m.
