Demon Slayer Hashira Ranked Into Tier List
When it comes to the Demon Slayer world, Hashiras are the strongest you got. These people protect the innocent from the deadly Demons at night.
Here we sorted out each Hashira from weakest to strongest in a tier list.
For convenience, The tier list consists of 3 categories namely S-Tier, A-Tier, and B-Tier.
Note: These Hashiras are ranked only into the tier lists but are not internally ranked in a particular tier.
Let’s start with the weakest Hashira in B-Rank Tier List.
B-Tier Hashira In Demon Slayer
Shinobu Kocho
Shinobu Kocho is an odd one in the Hashiras for sure and is the weakest Hashira but that doesn’t make her an easy target for the Demons.
This Hashira may be ranked the lowest in this tier list but she is one of the most useful characters in the Demon Slayer world.
Even without any power wrecking moves under her belt, Shinobu got into Hashiras and that says a lot about her.
The sister of a fallen comrade is an insect pillar as she is well known for her chemical potions and the medicinal knowledge that comes with her into the Demon Slayer Corps.
Though Shinobu isn’t as powerful as other Hashiras, She developed a special fighting skill that pierces Demon’s wounds and injects them with chemicals.
These aren’t any chemicals to neutralize the foes, The portions that toy with the prey’s minds who often die in confusion.
The deadly chemicals at her arsenal combined with a wide range of medical knowledge make her a valuable member of the Demon Slayer Corps that no one wants to go against.
Jigoro Kuwajima
This Hashira is the oldest one in all of Demon Slayers and with age comes the experience.
Jigoro Kuwajima has been a Hashira all his life and mastered the lighting breathing technique in his youth. In fact, he is a former “Thunder Pillar” in the Demon Slayer Corps.
The old geezer isn’t as strong as in his past days but the strategy he puts is one not to fall into.
Jigoro knows several secret demon-slaying techniques and he feels the urge to pass it down to the new generations to be able to protect themselves from the Demon Muzan Kibutsuji.
He may not be in his prime form but he sure is helpful for other comrades in the Demon Slayer Corps.
Kanae Kocho
Kanae is one of the few Hashiras who are mentally stable. This demon-slaying character always takes care of her two sisters Shinobu Kocho and Kanoi Tsuyuri.
The elder sister of Shinobu is a Flower pillar in the Demon slayer corps and we are yet to see her in action.
The charming Hashira will always put a smile on her face and wants to make along with demons.
Even though history is full of bloodshed, Kanae hopes to solve the conflict between humans and demons which ultimately leads to their coexist.
The balanced Hashira isn’t as calm and caring when it comes to slaying demons as her rank in the Demon Slayer pillars proves her as a valuable companion.
With very few details about her in the manga, Fans are rearing to see her go all out against the Demons in future storylines.
Mitsuri Kanroji
This Hashira is similar to Kanae but there’s one important thing to note down.
Mitsuri Kanroji is the current pillar of love and is a very soft person to be around but she doesn’t show it in the presence of a demon.
Unlike, The pillar of flower, Mitsuri turns into a wild beast when she spots a demon and doesn’t rest until the foe is neutralized.
With a special skin that is harder than other average human beings, Mitsuri wields a breathtaking technique that can shred Demons to pieces.
In her time in the Demon Slayer Corps, She defeated a lot of Demons and by the word defeat, she doesn’t go easy on them.
The optimistic Hashira completely annihilates any Demon that threatens her friends and family. (So much for the title of love I guess.)
With a loving nature and the ability to protect herself and her comrades, She is a force to reckon with on the battlefield.
Let’s explore the strongest Hashiras that are just below the S-Tier list.
A-Tier Hashira In Demon Slayer
Tengen Uzui
What if I tell you that a Hashira who isn’t currently one makes his way into the A-Tier list?
Tengen is a member of the Demon Slayer Corps in the past but isn’t actively going out on missions.
Tengen is a mysterious person to be around as he is almost always up to something.
Going back to his past, Tengen Uzui used to be a Sound Pillar and a member of the Demon Slayer Corps but after fighting an upper-ranked Demon in an ambush, He decided to quit due to severe injuries.
Even after retiring, Tengen assists other Hashiras in their missions against Demons.
The former sound pillar is now married to two different women and trains new Hashira in sound breathing techniques.
Yes, Even though he retired, The former “Sound Pillar” Hashira is not one to mess with.
Kyojuro Rengoku
Rengoku who was praised as “The Flame Pillar” is sure to be in the top tiers.
Right from his childhood, The flame hashira showed immense determination in helping the weak and always believed that the strong should take care of the weak.
As he grew, Rengoku polished his technique known as the famous “Fire Breathing Style.”
This is the only Hashira who grew his ranks in a short period of time and branded his authority in the Demon Slayer Corps.
As we all knew, The fan-favorite character was killed off in Mugen Train Arc by an upper-ranked demon but saved a lot of innocent people on that day.
If you want to witness his heroics please watch Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kyōdai no Kizuna aka Demon Slayer: Mugen Train film.
Kyojuro Rengoku’s immense strength and rock-solid determination are sure to make him one of the strongest Hashiras in the whole Demon Slayer Corps.
Obanai Iguro
If there’s one Hashira that even Demon Slayer Corps fear then it’s Obanai Iguro.
Obanai is the current “Snake Piller” in Demon Slayer and is known to be strict with fellow Hashiras.
This Hashira is always pushing the limits of the corps and will take extreme measures to ensure the dignity of the organization.
Even with his fellow comrades, Obanai is seen as being strict and will openly criticize anyone who doesn’t follow the rules.
He even encourages other Hashiras to completely abandon their personal lives and focus on slaying demons.
With his Snake breathing style, Obanai Iguro is a tough customer for the upper-ranked Demons.
Muichiro Tokito
Muchiro is one of a kind Hashira as he only relies on logic in defeating demons.
Don’t get me wrong, He sure is a skilled combatant but he believes that emotions should not play a part while fighting a demon and has proved it on many occasions.
On the flip side, The former “Mist Piller” of the Demon Slayer Corps may be lost in his own thoughts and ofter seen wandering solo into the woods.
One instance to prove his ideology is right is when he alone defeated an upper moon demon using his demon slayer mark.
Muchiro Tokito is almost always silent and only speaks when necessary. This Hashira will analyze any moves the demons make and counter them in an instant.
This makes him one of the best thinking Demon Slayer in the anime.
Now comes the very few Hashiras from the S-Tier that are so strong that even the upper-ranked Demons fear them.
Sakonji Urokodaki
One of the first Hashira’s to be introduced to fans in the anime is also in the S-Tier list.
Sakonji Urokodaki is the former “Water Pillar” and is known to pass on his knowledge to the young demon slayers.
He trained Tanjiro and Tomioka in perfecting the water breathing style and is still a useful member of the demon slayer corps.
The retired veteran spent a long time in the organization and is still contributing to the welfare of the world.
In addition to his incredible water breathing style, Sakonji also has a sense of smell similar to Tanjiro that can be a troublesome quirk at his disposal.
Even years after his retirement, Sakonji Urokodaki is a note-worthy demon slayer in the anime.
Time for the big guns as we enter the S-Tier in the Demon Slayer Hashira tier list.
S-Tier Hashira In Demon Slayer
Gyomei Himejima
The number one Hashira that makes his way into the S-Tier is none other than Gyomei Himejima.
When I said these S-Tier Hashiras are feared by Demons, I’m not joking.
Gyomei is currently the strongest demon slayer in the organization and every single demon in the anime fears him.
He may be given the title of the strongest hashira and the “Pillar of Stone” but his past is very much different.
All his life, Gyomeo is just a regular blind person. One day a demon was invited into a temple and killed several children from the orphanage he lives in.
This incident changed Gyomeo altogether as he fought back and realized his immense strength.
From then on, Gyomeo decided to join the demon slayer corps and immediately found his rhythm.
Even though he is seen crying and being soft all the time, When it comes to fighting demons, he transforms into a beast.
The reason to keep fighting, unmatched physical strength, and perfect stone breathing technique make Gyomei Himejima the strongest demon slayer who can obliterate any demon in his sights.
Giyu Tomioka
Giyu is a student of legend Sakonji Urokodaki and leads his legacy in the right way.
From being a normal person to one of the strongest demon slayers, Giyu has come a long way in his journey.
His will to keep pushing and impeccable skill made him the current “Water Pillar” and does 100% justice to the title with his water breathing technique.
As skilled as any other Hashira, Giyu struggles to communicate with his fellow comrades.
At heart, He is a kind and sincere person but he sure needs to improve his ability to express himself.
Anyway, Giyu Tomioka is seen overwhelming his opponents on the battlefield and may become the strongest demon slayer in the coming future if he continues on the same path.
Sanemi Shinazugawa
If there’s anyone in the whole demon slayer corps that is quick to rage then it is Sanemi.
The reason for it is understandable as a demon killed his whole family but the Hashira is known to show incredible hatred towards demons and anyone else who supports them.
He completely opposes the ideology of coexistence between demons and humans due to his past tragedy and will quickly slay any demon without a single thought.
By considering his extremely dangerous wind breathing technique, The hothead is given the title of “Wind Pillar” and is sure to please even for his fellow Hashiras.
One of the key things to note about him is the special blood type that attracts even the upper demons towards him.
With all the rage and skill he’s got, This makes a perfect weapon in luring out the enemy.
Even without his tempting blood type, This Hashira is always on the look for slaying demons and when he finds one, He shows all his strength as if the demon killed his family.
This alone makes Sanemi Shinazungawa a formidable foe to any demon that crosses his path.
That brings an end to our tier list of all the Hashiras in the demon slayer corps.
