She reassured her followers that the news of her and her brother’s death was untrue and that both of them were alive and safe. This confirmation from Lil Tay came as a great relief to her fans, who were relieved to know that their favorite influencer was out of harm’s way.
In an open statement, the influencer wrote,
“I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive. However, I am completely heartbroken and struggling to find the right words to express my emotions. In the same year, Jason Tian had accused Tay’s father, Christopher John Hope, of mentally abusing her and had even helped her set up a GoFundMe page, adding that the funds collected would be used for raising legal fees while supporting Tay in court against her father for his mental and physical abuse implicated on her.
