Reality TV series are notorious for featuring on-screen romances, and although that may help with their ratings and keep the audiences entertained, some couples are special even off-screen. Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke are one such sweet couple that Summer House fans have always adored and hoped they would stay together forever.
It seems that not all good things last long since, despite being engaged during Summer House season 7, the couple has reportedly called off their engagement. It may come as a surprise to many fans, but things could have changed between Lindsay and Carl during the timeframe of these past couple of years.

Lindsay & Carl: The Power Couple’s History
While many of you are already aware that Lindsay and Carl met during the first season of Summer House, many things have transpired during their journey since 2017.
During their initial meeting, both of them were in their respective relationships, but after years of being good friends, the couple eventually got together in 2021 after they had a fling in 2019. Their ship sailed smoothly, with the couple being crazy for each other and flaunting their chemistry in the Summer House.
In August 2022, Carl and Lindsay revealed their engagement to the world through an Instagram joint post, notifying the fans that they are finally set on a path of commencing a new life together.
Their engagement was celebrated with close friends and family members, and their proposal was emotionally beautiful, as the couple claimed back then.
The proposal unfolded with Carl commemorating their seven-year journey through a message on a beautiful beach, and he recounted the rest, including how he hid the ring in the bag and surprised Lindsay.
“As we got there, I told her, ‘We haven’t had time to have alone time this summer, and I wanted to do something special,’ and then he proposed, to which Lindsay responded by saying, “A thousand times, yes!”
“And he said, ‘Hold on, let me get the ring,’ and I was like, ‘I don’t care! When should we get married? Now? I’m ready!'”
While everyone, including the fans and the co-hosts of the Summer House, are excited about the wedding, which is supposed to take place on November 17, 2023, it was unexpectedly called off.
So, why did Lindsay and Carl break off their engagement, and does this imply that they are breaking up?

There may be all kinds of rumors surrounding the couple’s future, where some claim that they are planning on taking a break and a few signifying that they are separated for good. However, without solid evidence, everything you see on social media is nothing but a personal opinion.
Apparently, a blind item was sent to Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram, revealing that they have truly called off the wedding, and the source claims that Carl is the one to call it off.
Fortunately for fans, the mystery won’t stay under the veil for much longer because Carl broke the engagement off on camera, as multiple sources have confirmed to Entertainment Online that the rumor is, in fact, true. In their words,
“Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard have called off their engagement. The two were set to get married in November, but Carl told Lindsay he couldn’t move forward with the wedding. The breakup was filmed and will most likely play out on the next season of Summer House.”
