Here is how you can initiate the process to cancel PlayStation Plus:
- Gamers need to visit the ‘Settings’ section of their PlayStation console.
- Select ‘Users and Accounts’ in the menu.
- In the ‘Account’ section, choose the ‘Payment and Subscriptions’ option.
- Navigate to ‘Subscriptions’.
- Select ‘PlayStation Plus.’
- Select ‘Cancel Subscription’.
Following the process, the gamers would see the next screen where it asks, ‘Are you sure?’, select ‘Confirm Cancellation,’ and will have to agree to further proceedings. Will I Get A Refund Upon Canceling PlayStation Plus Subscription?
The users will have to cancel the subscription within 14 days of purchase to get a refund. Failing to apply for the cancelation under the stipulated time will result in getting no refund. However, the service will continue until the next payment is due.
Gamers will be able to use all membership benefits associated with the PlayStation Plus membership tier they purchased until the end of the current subscription period.
Once the refund amount is completed, the amount will be reflected in the PlayStation wallet of the full subscription cost originally paid and a second debit for the charge for the period the PlayStation Plus service was used.
However, the refunded amount will be deducted on the basis of the gamer’s PS Plus activity, such as the number of free games they’ve played and the amount of time spent on multiplayer.
If face any issues, users can also visit the PlayStation Contact Support page through a web browser on a desktop and sign in with their PlayStation Network account credentials. They will have to select PS Store & Refunds > PlayStation Store refunds.
