With every year awarding a selected musician/singer in every category, competitors find it hard to keep a winning streak. Especially singers like Morgan Wallen, who was phenomenal this year, are great contenders for these awards.

Morgan Wallen, born in Sneedville, Tennessee, has only been a country singer for four years, and despite being phenomenal for the past three years, he hasn’t won a single accolade at the CMA Awards.
In fact, he was nominated in three categories this year, including Album of the Year (One Thing At A Time), Entertainer of the Year, and Male Vocalist of the Year, facing fierce competition with Lainey Wilson.
However, Morgan Wallen hasn’t won a single award at the 57th Annual CMA Awards, drawing mixed emotions from his admirers and music fans alike.
While he was beaten by Lainey Wilson in Entertainer of the Year and Album of the Year (Bell Bottom Country) categories, Chris Stapleton earned Male Vocalist of the Year over him.
His album One Thing At A Time has stormed to the top of the charts this year, with his song Last Night earning him the first No.1 spot on Billboard Hot 100 while the album itself has ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 200 upon its debut.
After the completion of the award ceremony, the singer responded with “Walked in tonight a winner, didn’t leave no different” on his Instagram story, implying that he’s still a winner despite not winning the awards.

Since Morgan Wallen arguably had the best year out of the rest of the competitors, many of his supporters, as well as several other music fans, criticized the award ceremony, claiming that he was robbed.
