Diablo IV is a high-powered, high-voltage action role-playing game developed by Blizzard Entertainment. The Diablo series has reached its 4th installment with updated game buffs. The full game is set to release on 6th June 2023, and fans are anticipating the upgraded characters, skills, and new gears. But players are also confused with the additional feature of Lucky Hit. Here’s a complete guide on how to use this feature to your advantage.
What is Lucky Hit in Diablo 4?
The Lucky Hit is essentially a proc coefficient– consider it a percentage factor by which your selected item’s intensity, duration, trigger chance, or the combination of the three is multiplied.
Suppose you have two gears with you: A Ghoul Strike Axe and a sword. Both have a predetermined speed and intensity before a proc coefficient. Say, the axe has better acceleration than the sword.
With the coefficient, each is assigned a percentage factor– say, 0.1 for the axe and 0.7 for the sword. Now when you use these weapons, their strike effect will be multiplied by the corresponding factor. This makes the battle even more interesting because Diablo 4 has assigned this coefficient to selected items. That is why it is called a “Lucky Hit.”
Lucky Hit is applicable on several factors, such as–
- The base Lucky Hit Chance of the skill.
- The Lucky Hit Chance of the Effect
- The Lucky Hit Chance of your equipped gear
Do not mistake the Lucky Hit for Critical Hit Chance– it’s an offensive stat that refers to an attack with Critical Hit on your enemies.
- It’s a chance to Critically Strike when a Skill deals damage.
- Critical Strikes deal 50% bonus damage.
- Damage over time cannot be a Critical Strike.
What Is the Hardest Difficulty in Diablo 4?
So far, Torment has been the highest difficulty in the Diablo series. Earlier, Inferno was considered the most challenging mode.
Torment is unlocked when you achieve level 60 for one character in your account, even if you have Reaper of Souls installed.
What Is the Difference Between Healthy and Injured in Diablo 4?
Healthy and injured are both Status Ailments– the conditions that are applied to Enemies and Players. You can use Skills, Talents, Weapon Modifiersm Runes, etc., to inflict these Ailments.
The difference between Healthy and Injured in Diablo 4 is that:
- Injured is when characters have less than 35% of their life.
- Healthy is when characters have more than 80% of their life.
Who Is the Bad Guy in Diablo 4?
Blizzard Lillith is the main antagonist of Diablo 4. Lillith is responsible for creating humanity with her love affair with Inaris. This is kind of an ironical relationship, considering she is the daughter of Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred, and Inaris is a former Archangel. It’s a bond of angel and demoness.
They both co-created Sanctuary– a realm between Burning Hells and High Heavens. Also led to their offspring, the Nephalem. Due to its growing power, the forces of Burning Hells and High Heavens saw this as a threat. So, they invaded Sanctuary and killed as many as they could.
Lillith was rightfully angered, and so she decided to seek vengeance.
Diablo 4 explores her return after Inaris banished her to the void. Her mission is to regain the Sanctuary and start a new army. As a player, you have to follow her across the Sanctuary.
