Demon Slayer enthusiasts, brace yourselves! Crunchyroll and Aniplex have unveiled the global theatrical release dates for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training.

On February 23, North America, the U.K., Canada, and Scandinavia join, some with IMAX and PLF. India’s date is TBD, but hints suggest February 23, 2024. Special screenings with the anime’s team and cast are coming to cities like Tokyo, Berlin, New York, and more.

From February 21 to 22, viewers in various European, South American, and Australian regions can indulge in the special episode within local theaters.

February 23 is the big day for North American audiences, aligning with viewers in the U.K., Canada, and Scandinavia. Notably, this release extends to IMAX and premium large format (PLF) screens at select theaters, promising an immersive experience.

What about India?

For Indian fans, the regular theatrical release is on the horizon. While the official date is still under wraps, Crunchyroll has hinted at an impending announcement. 

Interestingly, BookMyShow, an online ticket booking platform, hinted at a February 23, 2024, IMAX 2D release, although its authenticity remains uncertain.

  • February 23: Sweden, Bulgaria, Canada, Belgium, Romania, United States, Finland, Ireland, Luxembourg, Norway, Italy, Poland, Latvia, Iceland, South Africa, and the United Kingdom. 
  • February 24: France (note: two-day event screening), Estonia, Switzerland (French-speaking), and select countries in French-speaking Africa
