However, many have been asking whether the game is available for a solo player or not.
Being a worthy successor to its previous versions, the FPS game combines tight tactical teamplay with smooth gunplay and chucks. Similar to its first two installments of the franchise, which had both single and multiplayer content, players can play Payday 3 solo. Players can perform one-person heists as they can get help from AI teammates.
Can Gamers Play Solo in Payday 3?

The gamer would have to go for the heist as they normally would and will have to pick the “Invite Only” option above the matchmaking button. As they would not choose anyone from the list within the game, the AI bots will be seen fighting alongside you. However, there is no separate solo mode for the gamers.

How To Select Solo Mode in Payday 3?
Considering the nature of the game, playing solo is hard as the gamer would be caught by the police in no time, even if they have the best of weapons. However, they can play solo by teaming up with AI teammates to get the job done.
After completing the tutorial, gamers can play with three AI teammates by launching an invite-only lobby following these steps in Payday 3.
- Launch Payday 3 and select ‘Join a Heist and Matchmake.’
- Choose the heist and change ‘Lobby type’ to ‘Invite Only.’
- Choose the difficulty level and hit ‘Matchmake.’
- Wait for the lobby to load up, choose your loadout, and hit Ready, and you are ready with your team, in case your friends just ditched you at the last moment.
