Jason Momoa is a hunky dude who is known for his love of motorbikes, adventure sports, long hair, and throwing axes. He doesn’t stereotypically fit the description of a dude who can sing.

That’s why he surprised everyone when a Super Bowl 2024 ad was released by doing the one thing people thought this guy couldn’t- sing. But what convinced him to sing for the first time

Yes, Jason Momoa can sing. He showcased his musical talents in a 2024 T-Mobile Super Bowl commercial, marking his first foray into singing and dancing. Momoa’s journey into uncharted musical territory included a performance of Irene Cara’s “What a Feeling” from Flashdance, hinting at his versatility beyond the screen.

Jason Momoa, known for his commanding presence on screen, surprised fans with a musical debut in a T-Mobile Super Bowl commercial.

His journey into singing and dancing unfolded unexpectedly, as revealed during a chat with People magazine.

Stepping into uncharted territory, Jason Momoa ventured beyond his comfort zone for a tune set to Irene Cara’s “What a Feeling” from Flashdance.

Reflecting on the unconventional pitch, Momoa lauded the creativity of Zach Braff, Donald Faison, and director Brian Klugman, who crafted the concept on an iPhone in a Miami pool.

Initially hesitant about his singing abilities, Momoa was pleasantly surprised by the comedic twist. He said:

“I can’t sing — they’re going to have to find someone to sing. I’ve never sung on anything before!”
