LEGO Masters, the American reality TV series that airs on Fox, is currently in its fourth season, and throughout its six episodes, several contestants have been eliminated.
In fact, in the sixth episode, Aubree & Ryan were eliminated as they were at the bottom of the Brickmasters competition. However, there was also another team which unexpectedly withdrew from the competition.
Poppy & Ben, the grandfather and grandson who won in the third episode titled “Volcanic Brickruptiuons,” were not seen in the sixth episode “Is it Brick?” What happened to them?
Poppy (David) & Ben, who were supposed to compete in LEGO Masters season 4 episode 6, are now officially out of the competition as Poppy encountered some health issues due to which they had to withdraw. The news was announced by Will Arnet, the current host of LEGO Masters in Episode 6, on November 2, 2023.
What Exactly Happened to Poppy & Ben on LEGO Masters?
The fourth season of LEGO Masters has become remarkably fun, with the competition getting fiercer with each episode, and different teams have been besting in each game.
While Neena & Sam, the mother and son duo, are at the top with three wins and are safe as of episode six, couples like Brad and Mike have been eliminated in the first episode.
The fifth episode, however, remained a surprise to many fans of LEGO Masters because no one was eliminated. However, it seems like the sixth episode has balanced it with two eliminations.
Apart from Aubree & Ryan getting eliminated in the competition of building identical Lego bricks, unfortunately, Poppy and Ben also had to withdraw.
While they weren’t eliminated by playing the game, they weren’t present to attend the competition as Poppy (David) had some health issues, due to which the team couldn’t continue.
During the premiere of the sixth episode, fans were excited to see a great competition between all the surviving eight teams, but the announcement came from the host, Will Arnett.
He announced that Poppy and Ben had withdrawn from the competition for health reasons but did not reveal what kind of sickness Poppy was facing during the competition.
The announcement came at 9:05 pm on November 2, 2023, when the contestants were brought to the build room to get acquainted with the game they were about to compete in.
In fact, this sudden statement came as a surprise to both fans and the contestants because no one was informed that one of the teams was withdrawn willingly.
While viewers are sad that the dynamic duo of grandfather and grandson won’t be participating in the upcoming episodes and are missing a chance at attaining first place in the competition, their absence is more impactful than we expected.
If you have been watching the fourth season of LEGO Masters, the eliminations so far have been singular, with, at best, only one team being eliminated in each competition.
However, the sixth episode has seen the elimination of two teams, meaning the top six teams now have one less competitor than usual.
While that certainly works in their favor, surviving teams with zero wins will face problems later, as the competitions will only get harder as they move forward.
So, what are your thoughts on LEGO Master episode six? Did Poppy and Ben have a chance at surviving the show till the end?
