This unique addition to her attire happened to be a spit mask, or more professionally known as a spit hood, typically reserved for individuals exhibiting unruly behavior, particularly those attempting to spit on officers or court personnel during legal proceedings.
Schabusiness, a 25-year-old hailing from Green Bay, Wisconsin, had been charged with the horrifying murder of her ex-boyfriend in February 2022. What transpired during her trial was equally chilling, as she openly confessed to the ghastly details of the crime.
Her admission included strangulation with a chain and the mutilation of the victim’s (her ex-boyfriend) remains. This gruesome act took place in her ex-boyfriend’s mother’s basement, with body parts scattered throughout the house and even inside a vehicle.
Following the trial, Schabusiness was found guilty on multiple counts, including homicide, third-degree sexual abuse, and mutilating a corpse, with the homicide charge carrying a mandatory life prison sentence.
