Even after the merger with Warner Bros, Cartoon Network isn’t going away any time soon!
We are all familiar with Cartoon Network. While growing up, many of us enjoyed watching Ben 10, Dexter’s Laboratory, Tom and Jerry, Scooby-Doo, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and many more shows which give us a sense of nostalgia when we look back at the time spent as children.
A merger with Warner Bros Animation was revealed, which led to many speculating that Cartoon Network (or CN) won’t be the same as it once was. The original organization was established at the beginning of October 1992. So three decades later, netizens speculated fun times are now over.
Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and POGO are three of the most-watched channels. Back in the day, CN also aired a couple of anime like the famed Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon, Sailor Moon, and ThunderCats, which audiences worldwide appreciated. It gave us a worthy glimpse at the realm of anime and cartoons, which we’ll all treasure till the end of days.
#RIPCartoonNetwork was trending on Twitter yesterday. Some unofficial media reports claimed that Warner Bros had already begun firing employees, which wasn’t surprising since scores of companies have been trying to cut costs to match the tone of the challenging economy. However, those reports cannot be confirmed as of now.
People have also shunned David Zaslav and his policies on Twitter. The CEO and President of Warner Bros Discovery have often come under fire in recent years, as his choices have been wildly unpopular amongst the masses. Take a look at one reaction.
