Sonic Prime writer Duncan Rouleau has confirmed (via Cartoon Base) that there are currently no plans to make more episodes of Sonic Prime. His words were backed up by the concept artist Peter Slavik.ย

Peterโs words do have a ring of finality to it. So it looks like season 3 was the last season of Sonic Prime.
Also, as of now, there has also been no official announcement regarding the fate of Sonic Prime from Netflix.ย
Sonic Prime was originally commissioned for a total of twenty-four episodes, cleverly divided into three seasons, each consisting of eight episodes. It appears that the creators had always envisioned this epic adventure as having a clear beginning, middle, and end.ย
This structural choice added depth to the series, ensuring that the story arc remained tight and engaging. But it might also mean that the story the writers wanted to tell has been told.
