The fans of the show are no strangers to the ups and downs of Magro’s life, both on and off the screen. He got arrested, and now he is apologizing to Jersey Shore.

Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was arrested during the show, “MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation,” in April 2021. He faced charges after the allegations of domestic violence. However, he was released on the same day on $100,000 bail. Ronnie further remarked it was a learning experience and took a break to focus on his mental health. He returned to Jersey Shore in the latest episode to reconcile with his friends. Later, Ronnie apologized while taking responsibility for his behavior in the past.

This brings us to the flashback of the year 2021 when the media witnessed one of the biggest controversies. Yes, the “Jersey Shore and Ronnie” altercation. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro gained fame through his appearances on the reality show, “MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.”
In April 2021, Ronnie was arrested after the allegations of domestic violence against a partner. He was taken to the police station but was released on the same day on $100,000 bail. The identity of the person who pressed the charges was never disclosed.
However, Ronnie’s lawyer told to PEOPLE,
“We have just learned of the new allegations against Ronnie and need some additional time to further investigate. As such, we will not be making any other statements at this time.”
Prior to this incident, he was involved in a domestic violence case against his ex-girlfriend, Jen Harley. Ronnie was released on 36 months probation and 36 days of community services while donating $20,000 to a battered women’s shelter in Los Angeles.
However, according to Magro’s current girlfriend, he was innocent in the second case. She posted on her Instagram story saying,
“Ronnie and I are fine. There is a lot of misleading information floating around out there. With anybody who reached out with concern I appreciate it with all my heart, but everything that’s being portrayed out there are not facts. I don’t think it’s fair that people are using false accusations to gain attention.”
In the latest episode 29 of ongoing season 6, Ronnie made a comeback on the show. The reality star apologized to the team and his friends at the “Jersey Shore.” He said,
“It’s been 2 years since I’ve seen everybody. I had to step away because I made a lot of mistakes, but I’ve been doing a lot of work on myself lately, trying to make sure I’m on the right path and staying healthy.”
He further disclosed while crying,
“I love you guys like brothers and sisters. You’re the closest thing I have besides my family. I’ve had a lot of time to reflect over the last two years. It’s been a long journey, and I take a lot of responsibility for the things that I’ve done, not only in the past two years but in the past before that.”
Ronnie explained that he wanted to rebuild the old connection with his old friends. Fans are still skeptical about Ronnie and his arrival. However, few are wishing that he should get another chance as well.
